8.5OZ Cotton Durable Denim Fabric 67 Inches Width Entelare(Light Blue 1Yard)

Pleasantly surprised to find a 'jeans type' denim fabric at this price. The past few years things have gotten where the 'denim' is actually only cotton (for pieced quilting type and not 'really' denim). Which is okay, but, this it much better. Feels and frays like jeans!Pros:1. Durable and Medium Weight,2. Color as expected (dark blue), and3. Quality Denim as described.Cons:1. If you need more than one yard, the packages with separate one yard each package (not continuous). More fabric will be needed if your pattern calls for two yards check for how much you might need with the pre-cut.2. Because it is 'real jeans denim' Next time I will order a bit more than I need due to shrinkage (pre-wash shrinking typical for denim jeans type fabric).3. But, the Manufacturer says 'hand wash' (if you do that shrinkage mentioned above might be less for you). I'm NOT handwashing denim lol but I ran it on normal and even put in my dryer on the normal heat (which is a bit cooler than normal).I will order again but next time I'll order 3 yards (for a two yard project) and maybe mix with the light blue as well (due to pre-cut sections and wash/dry shrinkage). For this time I'll add some cut up jeans legs I have to make up the difference.

Great light 8oz denim light but not really thinh. I bought same fabric color was totally different like gray burnished dirty, selvage is burnout and so fabric does. Overall fabric is good. I guess was a different fabric bolt.P.s. If you order 2yds they ship 1 yard per order.

Good quality denim fabric with little of strech ,I believe it will make an awesome short.Good thickness and beautiful color.

So, it's a nice weight, and after just 2 or 3 washes there's no chemical smell (I have a super-sensitive nose, and have to discard or return a lot of the fabrics I buy online, so that's actually pretty good). The weight is medium heavy, and the color is pretty dark, but not as dark as navy. Here's the one reservation: it doesn't seem like 100% cotton. It has a bit of stretch, certainly more than it should have, and at the raw edges when it comes out of the wash, there's a little bit of rubbery fluff that I'm pretty is elastane.

Nice weight and soft.

I made a pair of shorts for my husband using this fabric. It was easy to work with, and it looks great.
