Beautiful 😍 Bible
Absolutely love this Bible. I have ample room for notes, ability to "color" the Bible art work.Pages are thin so I use pens & highlighters that don't bleed.

Beautiful Bible
I colored with a gel pen to see how look it took to dry, longer than regular colorbooks. And there is bleed thru also.I would recommend just colored pencils...not paints and gel pens.Pretty book and the font is easy to read and I like the columns for journaling. I would buy it again no question about it.

Church Coloring Bible
My 9-year-old son wanted a church Bible that he could color. There aren't very many options for boys. So, while this Bible is a little on the girly side, it has enough blue that is makes it alright for a boy. (Bible makers-- make covers for boys!) He likes coloring the images in the margins. It comes in a slip case, which he continues to use to protect his Bible. The cover is a softcover.

GREAT BIBLE, designs very small to color
I should say two things. I got the softcover, so this may not apply to the hardcover. And also, I did know what i was getting. I saw a copy in a store first and then ordered it.I don't find the print to be that small, and I am older and wear bifocals. And it is a very pretty bible. I don't find the pages to be that thin, either, for a Bible. I will say, however that I wouldn't keep using the slipcover that it comes with. Taking the Bible in and out of that crumples the pages accidentally no matter how you do it.The reason I am giving it less stars is because I imagine most people would want this to color in--that that is why they would buy this particular Bible. I can't see how it would it work for that. the coloring spaces are beyond tiny. You'd have to be using the Prismacolor Verithins or a very very fine line marker. and with the marker, unless you put gesso you would have bleed through. the pages aren't that thin for a Bible but they are very thin for a coloring book. The reason i bought the bible is because the designs are tasteful and gorgeous and there are plenty of them. I am able to copy elements of them, such as the borders or flower designs and do other decorations with them. Many of the illustrated bible have lots of kittens, teacups, stereotyped florals, park benches, etc which I DON'T prefer. This one has a few of those but it is mostly lettering designs--and they are gorgeous.I don't know if my observations only apply to the paperback edition. If the hardcover is larger. I know there is a large print version. Maybe the coloring in that is large enough. But if you want it for coloring, I don't suggest it, for the reasons stated above. there are a lot of pages which are not decorated though, and someone with a large set of very tiny pencils might well enjoy coloring the decorated pages, too.ED I TED TO ADD: I added another star because I did color in one design and it's not as impossible as I thought. I used regular prisma pencils. But it is very tiny and I had to keep sharpening to keep the point thin enough. Just be aw a re.

Soft to the touch
This Bible is soft to the touch. The large print is easy to read. It is light weight with thin pages. I do wish it had more space on the sides for notes. I would purchase this again.
