A review about soap?
I can't believe I'm writing a review about hand soap...it's just soap, right? Maybe not... I decided to buy a 6 pack from Amazon because I realized that whenever I went to the grocery store or the big box hardware store I was looking for Method refills...and either coming up empty or paying too much. There are plenty of other liquid soaps that come in refill size - what makes Method special enough that I would buy over a gallon of it online and then write a review about it? It's not because a family member has funky allergies or sensitivities - it's because the soap is really good soap, and the company behaves ethically and doesn't just think about profits. It's important to me to *not* buy antibacterial soap. I don't believe it's necessary and washing antibacterial chemicals down the drain and into the environment can't be a good thing (studies are inconclusive on this). Washing with soap and water is a completely adequate way to get the germs off. Method soaps don't have antibacterial agents...in fact, they don't have a lot of chemicals found in other soaps (check out their website for more on that). It's also important to me to buy soap that works well and smells nice, or at least doesn't smell bad. What's the point of buying soap that doesn't get hands clean? This soap works as well as any other soap and the fragrance is really mild (Sweet Water). A nice touch is the pouch the soap comes in. I always spill soap when refilling dispensers, but not with the Method pouch. The tip goes in the bottle and I squeeze the pouch until the bottle is full.I suspect this review is preaching to the choir, though. Who else ends up at the Method soap product page except someone looking for Method soap? I don't think people just browse around Amazon looking at hand soaps. Books, yes, electronics, yes, but hand soap?Enough already, just go buy the soap. It's great soap and with a 6 pack of pouches you won't run out for a very long time!

Good soap for kitchens and bathrooms
The Method gel hand soap works well in most dispensers. There might be some dispensers when the gel could be too thick to pump. However, that hasn't been a problem with our dispensers. The gel is concentrated, so you only need about a dime sized amount to wash your hands. The scent isn't strong which is a plus.I have been having difficulty buying the Method Hand Soap since early in the pandemic. So, while I wouldn't normally buy 6 at once, availability wins.

Method Gel Hand Wash
Love this product! It’s mild on my skin but a very effective cleansing soap. I love the delicate scent- not overpowering or strong.

Dilutes down well for foaming dispensers
I bought this to refill the various foaming dispensers I have, since it's a great price per oz for gel, meaning when I dilute it for a foaming dispenser, the unit cost blows everything else out of the water. I was surprised by how well it dilutes down compared to other gel soaps. I started at 12% by weight and already that produces a nice thick lather. For a dispenser, I'm using the method foaming body wash dispenser, since it's much more durable than the method foaming hand soap dispensers (I had 2 which both eventually wore out, meanwhile the body wash dispenser still produces a foam throughout the full length of each press). At the rate I'm diluting this gel soap at (65g gel + 482g water), the 6l of gel expands to 50l of foaming soap (1759.752 oz), making the unit cost of the final product 2.1 cents per fl oz. This is WAY better than the usual 30 cents per fl oz.

Smells great, ecological and works well
I love the Method products line because they are naturally derived and come in refill packets so I can just use my existing pump bottles. The smell is refreshing and not too strong. It also cleans your hands, etc. very well.

gel works good mixed 50/50 with water in a foaming soap dispenser
I've used this for 10 years and love the scent. Only issue is that the price has gone crazy. Used to be $28. for six packs of gel. Now $44. Why such a price increase...this is SOAP !! Won't buy again unless price comes down.

Love the light scents & that they don’t linger
I’ve been using Method hand and dishwashing soap refills for years. I love that the SCENTS ARE LIGHT & DO NOT LINGER ON MY SKIN. The price is reasonable although although it does fluctuate, by putting it in my save it for later cart when I get down to the last bag (I buy 6 at a time & it lasts me ages), I can keep an eye on the price & buy it when it’s closer to $30-ish instead of $40-ish (2019). The cucumber is my favorite! but the blue color of the sweet water looks prettier, in my glass dispenser, with the other things in my bathroom. 😀

Cleans well enough but smells harsh
Smells like rubbing alcohol but the scent lingers longer on my hands after using this soap. Shame, really, since the Sea Minerals scent was quite pleasant but it was out of stock. That’s why I went with Sweet Water, expecting it to be a lot milder given the scent name. Instead, it smells very harsh. Does the job with cleaning though, so there’s that.

Use these for the foaming dispensers!
I used to buy the liquid soap refills for refilling my plastic method foaming hand soap bottles. But we did go through them fairly quickly. I tried used regular (cream?) hand soap mixed with water in the bottles, but it was always separating, which annoyed me. A friend suggested using GEL hand soap and water to refill the foamy bottles, and it works perfectly and doesn’t separate! This case of gel hand soap has lasted ya well over a year and we’re only halfway through. That’s a family of 4, 4 bathrooms and about 2,788 hand washes a day... :) We fill about 1/3 of the bottle with gel soap and the rest with water.
