RGB LED Rock Lights,14 Pods Waterproof Multicolor Chasing Neon Underglow Music Lighting Kit with APP&RF Control for Car Truck ATV UTV SUV

This was my first time installing something like this on my truck and while I did have to watch a few videos and call a friend, overall, fairly easy to install these on my truck. Before installing, I did test these lights out during the day and in a dark garage. These lights can be seen in the daylight but when it's dark, these things are very bright, especially when you have the whole pack of lights lit up in your face. The remote helps turning these on and changing the color of the lights which is a must, but if you lose the remote, as long as you download the app, you can control the lights this way as well. I prefer the app because it's not only easier to get the color or look that you're wanting but it's really easy to navigate.

1st set I ordered half the lights didn't work but the seller made it right. New set was installed and seemed fine for a bit but after a few months and not even much use they aren't lighting up anywhere near how they were new. They have lost brightness it seems and with one set installed the last 4 leds color don't match the rest. I originally ran them off one line following the route needed and fiured it was just too much voltage drop by the end. Re-wire with half and half coming off the power supply and still getting mis-colored leds on the same 4 leds so guessing those ones just failed over a few months. Most likely going to switch them out and make my own lights which I think will be easier and cheaper now I'm more familiar with led lights and power sources.

The media could not be loaded.  We recently purchased a 1999 Jeep Wrangler. We are part of a Jeep club and wanted to add a little flair to our ride. We needed something very durable, water proof, easy to install, and customization. This set of JIMJOY RGB LED Rock Lights checked off all the boxes!I can't believe how easy these were to install. It comes with everything you need to attach the lights to your rig. It comes with zip-ties and screws. The lights come with a remote, this is super handy. The lights have a silicon housing, which is really perfect for all weather situations. The lights come with an app to help create a more customized experience.Over all, my husband and I are over the moon with this set of LED lights. Highly recommend!

I really have to say, these are a solid 4 star. They work well, the app is decent, and they’re pretty bright.But if all the positive why 4 stars instead of 5? The number of extension cables, lackluster instructions, and the power switch. The box has to be out of the elements, and if you want the built in power switch to be in the interior of the vehicle, the controller box has to be in there, so if you have the first set of lights towards the front, you have to use a pair of extensions for that, which leaves you two short for the last ones. Just include 2 more cables.Also, I can appreciate the simplicity of the push on push off switch, but maybe have it separate from the main power cable going into the box so your options aren’t limited, and maybe switch to a rocker style switch or even better, bare leads, include the connectors and a rocker.The instructions a fine enough, but they say absolutely nothing about the single blue wire coming out of the box. I assume that is to attach to the brake switch that I would *hope* would make all the lights come on red, but I don’t know and to be honest I’m a little too lazy to try. I might hook it up some day but it’s pretty cramped under the dash. Just mention what it is and where it should be hooked to in the instructions.All in all, 4 stars. Pretty solid kit but I gotta buy some extensions....

You have to secure them with materials that aren’t included for them to last long. Also one of the lights is bad and I don’t know how to replace just one or how to bug just one?

Takes forever to run the wires when installing but aside from that they are great!

I got these yesterday and I hooked them up to a power supply first to ensure that they were working properly and they did not. The lights flickered no matter the color. Sending back tomorrow.Update:I hooked up the lights one by one and they performed as they should....nice and bright with no flickering. I do wish thatthey were color chasing. Will update once installed on my truck.

I got this as a gift for my son and his car and I think the quality of the individual lighting units and the system for connecting to the car is not bad. They do seem to hold up int he weather, but the connections between the lights at the "plug" seems to be iffy and so if one stops working, everything below that stops working. Also, if the connection is not good then they don't all turn the correct color, etc. Under the car is the worst place you could be for water hazards... but I am disaapointed overall.

Lights are super dull. Wouldn't light up the proper colours, some would be one colour while others another colour. Does NOT have white. Very very poorly made!
