I have wavy hair and a very sensitive scalp. I'm prone to dandruff and have dry hair, so I don't usually use clarifying products until I absolutely need to because of the build-up from all my dry hair products. I only wash every 4-6 days, and I find that I can use this product every other shampoo if I really want to. Not only does it smell great (minty), but it feels great, too. I love the tingly feeling at my roots and my scalp feels like it can breathe again when I get out of the shower, as silly as that may sound. I find that it helps immensely with a dry, itchy scalp in the winter and cuts through all the sludge of sunscreen and oil in the summer because it somehow manages to effectively clean and leave some moisture behind, which I love. I'm glad I took the leap and purchased - about to buy my third bottle!

Oooooooooh….. where do I begin. First of all. Don’t get this stuff in your eyes. It’s my first time using it so I’m not sure if it works but giving that my scalp feels like the Antarctic gods blessed my scalp with the coldest holy water. If you want a “oooooooh” in the shower. Get this 🤣

I started using a shampoo bar several months ago which on the whole I was pretty happy with. Except for a problem with powdery residue (not dandruff) build up on my scalp and hair brush. My daughter reminded me that in the area I live the water is hard. Just one application of the apple cider rinse and my scalp, hair and hair brush are residue free. I don't know what the benefit of the rinse would be if living in a soft water area but in a hard water area using it is beneficial. My scalp feels wonderfully clean and my hair softer and more manageable.

My hair feels amazing literally after one use! I got it for my dandruff and it's too soon to tell how well it works for that, but my hair and scalp feel so freaking good. My hair is so soft! Before it felt like straw!

I think this product is very minimal to moderately effective. Using it the write way makes it moderate at best. They recommend to use it post shampoo but before conditioning and i see some using it pre-shampoo but i think its probably best used as a quick rinse inbetween washing like right after a workout or preferably use it with a conditioner + silicone scalp massage/scrubber (can substitute the conditioner with just a shampoo for almost as good results). So what i do is i shampoo first, rinse, then put the conditioner in and then pour the rinse on top then massage it in with the scrubber to loosen up scalp buildup while letting the conditioner still sit to do its thing then once im done doing the scrubbing i simply rinse it out and have a scalp feeling xtra fresh and buildup free. Imo thats the best way to deal with excessive hair buildup.One of the major drawbacks of this product is that its easy to use too much (dont squeeze just let it drip out) and the amount that u end up using ends up being like 1/5 of the product even when trying to be conservative. So it runs out quick! At the current price point its not worth it. Just buy one bottle to get a good feel for it to see if it works for u and if you're not lazythen get a bottle of cheap apple cider vinegar and refill the bottle with that + essential oils + a carrier oil like coconut oil or avocado oil. This will be significantly cheaper and last longer. If you're lazy and not hurting in the pockets then get this and try my method for the best results.

This product does the job whether you are taking out braids or want to do a deep cleaning. I highly recommend using this product.

I have spent nearly a decade trying to get my curly hair more than an inch past my shoulders. Hair was always dead and breaking off. I stopped shampooing about 4 months ago and started using this cleanser and my hair is successfully halfway down my back, doesn’t break off like before. My scalp feels cleaner after using. But feels like you put icy minty air in your eyes if it gets in them.
