As another customer said, the 8 oz. bottle that I received does not look like the bottle in the photo. The bottle that I received looks like a smaller version of the 16 and 32 oz. bottle. There is no provision for easily measuring out 1 oz portions inside the bottle.Instead of squeezing the bottle to measure and dispense the dye (like you would do with the bottle pictured on Amazon), I had to measure it the old fashioned way (pour the dye out of the bottle and into a tiny measuring cup). This was messy and far more inconvenient.So, be aware that the bottle you receive might not be the style of bottle pictured here on Amazon. IF spilled, the dye gets spread everywhere very quickly and it smears around when you wipe it up.Update: I received a response to this review from the seller offering a full refund due to the mixup about the bottles. 10 STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE! As much as I would have liked the bottle with the built-in dispensing feature, the product itself is great and performs wonderfully. And you can't beat the way the company takes care of its customers.

Although this dye seems a little expensive, I suspect it is well worth the price if it allows the user to not apply spray to an area a second (or more) time. I tried to keep from spilling on my garage floor but spilled in several places anyway. After a few days I was able to wipe it up. I tried using surgical gloves to keep from staining my hands, but ended up with several blue spots on both hands. I used GoJo to try to wash it off my hands, but no luck. I showered after I finished work but my hands were still blue. I then used Aveeno moisturizer on my face and legs and much to my surprise, the blue marks had disappeared!My only regret is that I should have bought a larger bottle of this product, because I ran out befor finishing my work.

Product works well, but it is MESSY. Wear rubber gloves, old clothes, and rubber boots when using this product. Pour the product in/over an area that you don't mind getting stained. Also, I did not care for the bottle design with the separate measuring spout. I think my bottle and bottle caps may have been defective. The caps did not permit a tight seal because remnants of the product dripped from the caps after I closed the bottle. Make sure you have a large zip-lock bag ready to store the bottle once you are done using the product.

Pictured product with dosing chamber arrived as scheduled in a sealed bag. The 2 screw caps were secured with special tape and no leakage seen. Used it to apply herbicide to a Star of Bethlehem (SOB) infestation in our meadow that had just been cut down above the SOB leaving a lot of fallen dried cut plant material. I used a 10 mL disposable plastic pipet to transfer the dye from the application chamber to the sprayer rather than pouring. It did not stain the plastic sprayer. The dye definitely helped in avoiding double spraying on the SOB during the treatment period although the dried plant material retained the dye better. SOB has thin vertical waxy leaves that drain most the application off so worse case. The treated SOB is evident in a few days so it is not necessary to be able to see the dye at that point.

Definitely works. Very easy to see where you’ve sprayed. Disappears pretty quick.

As much as I like old fashioned things, I dislike looking like a Smurf.My bottle was either previously opened or has a crack at the very top of the handle. As soon as I started to take the lid off, dye started to come out of the bottle. Measuring out four teaspoons was a messy adventure that I did not need to have, but since I love to get yelled at, everything ultimately worked out just fine.In all seriousness, be aware that the bottle you receive might not be the style of bottle pictured here on Amazon. Wear gloves and be careful. I feel stupid saying this because it shouldn’t be a big deal pour out of a bottle and measure it. BUT if this process goes south on you, even in the slightest bit, it is messy. The dye gets spread everywhere very quickly and it smears around when you wipe it up.If you get it on your clothes, it comes out fairly easily. We pretreated the stains with Oxy stain remover and soaked the clothes in a bucket of laundry detergent and Oxy Clean before washing. The dye also washes off of your skin easily too, not instantly, but easily.Finally, the product works as intended and it’s nice to be able to see where you sprayed and where you didn’t.

It’s a great way to tell where you have already sprayed. Eliminates guest work. Mix is easy and dissipates in a few days.

It’s very pigmented, and works well to highlight where you’ve sprayed.Word of caution, be extremely careful when pouring this product… it does NOT come off the skin easily and you’ll look like a Smurf for days.
