DQB 22769 Driveway Applicator Exterior

I like the fact that the broom allowed me to apply a driveway sealant with little effort.

We bought this item to apply asphalt repair and resealer, as it was suggested by the Amazon website under ‘customers who bought that also bought this’. It worked great, up until the handle broke off near the connection to the brush, before we were done with the project. It was not repairable.Disappointing.

As others have reported the handle fatigues, then snaps. If you have a push broom with a wooden handle that handle will probably fit. The brush is a good tool. The handle is good for about an hour of light work, enough to spread 25 gallons of asphalt sealer. For many, this will be enough.

For this price I wasn't expecting very much perhaps at best a disposable quality unit. I was pleasantly suprised to receive a very well made brush and a metal pole with extra long nylon threads to install the brush onto. I ordered 3 expecting the worst but the brush cleaned very well with a stream of water and lasted through two applications of latex sealer on a 2,000 sq ft driveway. All in all a good value.

Not of the highest quality, handle too short.

I would buy the more expensive one if you ever plan to use more than once…. Gets the job done for a onetime use.

Works for sealing driveway..

I wouldn’t buy it again. The manufacturer of the sealant I used recommended a brush. This one left heavy brush marks. For the second coat I used a roller which covered most of them. If you’re going to the trouble of resealing yourself, get a better brush. This one was ok, but a brush is just a brush, but kind of cheaply made.
