Very solid well made table
I purchased the blue glass, silver/gray frame desk. It was delivered quickly, without damage, and all the parts were present.Assembly: Building this desk is not for the faint of heart. There are a lot of small parts. The directions which come with it are quite good though. There is no text, just images showing how it should go together. My advice is to:1. Unpack all the parts, identify them and lay them out where you can easily see them.2. Read the instructions completely BEFORE you start building (reading them twice isn't a terrible idea).3. There is a hardware blister pack included, instead of trying to peel the cardboard back off, use a razor or sharp scissors to cut the plastic bubble off on the top leaving the hardware in a little "cup".4. Do exactly what the instructions show and go slow. Breathe. :D5. An electric phillips head screw driver is a nice to have.6. It's not an awful idea to have a spare set of hands, but it can be done alone too.I put this desk together in about an hour.Once the desk is together, it is genuinely sturdy, a manageable weight and really very attractive! The top lifts up and down easily and with smooth action. I think this piece meets and even beats my expections given the relatively low price. I'm going to enjoy it for years!I've attached two pictures. The first is a close up of the large, but shallow drawer. It's holding two layers of Prismacolor trays, and one more layer of pigment pens. The light (sold separately) is clipped easily to the back of the desk. The tablet stand (sold separately) easily clipped to the fold down shelf. The top can be raised and lowered without removing either accessory!

Perfect Drafting Table
I put this together by myself in only a short time. The instructions were pretty easy to understand, although I made a couple of dumb mistakes like putting something on backward before realizing it wasn't going to work. User problem! :) Everything was there, and you really don't need any other tools. Mostly, I chose this particular model because of the drawer beneath it, the flat shelf on the side for things like a palette that you don't want to tilt, and the easy-to-clean glass, which is also a pretty blue! The glass is thick and heavy, but I wouldn't put anything really heavy on it that would put a lot of pressure in one place. Most art materials are pretty light, but the easel is not going to have the same support that a flat desk would because it's made to be lifted up. The easel will only lift so far, so if you want to use it for oil painting, you'll probably want a separate easel that allows your canvas to be more perpendicular. Still, for drawing, pastels, watercolor, and even acrylics, it's just right! I'm pleased with my decision to get this model. If I were to change ANYTHING, it would be that the drawer be a little bigger. I'm not sure if it was impossible to construct that way because of where the center bar lines up or what, but a drawer that is bigger from front to back and top to bottom (just an inch or two, deep enough to hold a sectional tray) would be nice. :) However, I do like the drawer. I leave it open a few inches and put my watercolor palette and water bowl inside the drawer while I work. It's really handy! I have not bought the height extenders. I don't feel like I need them. Actually, I need a higher chair, because dining chair height is just a bit too short. I'm currently using a piano bench at the max height until I get a new chair, so I don't think extenders are necessary, unless I just don't know the benefit of them. :)

Missing a part. Supporting suction cup for the glass top of the folding side shelf is missing.
One of the four suction cups that supports the glass shelf on the side of the table is missing. (See the photo included.) We need the manufacturer to send the part in order to properly install the glass in the folding side shelf.*Otherwise we are very happy with this drawing table. Will update review upon receipt of the missing part and review of customer service.
