Nothing Stood In Her Way: Captain Julie Clark Paperback – March 21, 2013

Really enjoyed this book. LoIt is a very differenttopic than I normally read but so well researched amd documented. I was not only entertained but learned a lot. I really love this author. After I read her bookThe Final Flight, I got online and ordered all her other books!

I wrote this review, but I have to admit that I’m a bit biased lol. Julie Clark is my mother, so I love her very much and it was great to be part of this book.

Having seen Capt. Clark perform her aerobatics multiple times as a popular feature at Air Adventure Oshkosh I became curious as to her private life and beginings as well. In April of "09" I had the pleasure of meeting her briefly while she did a lay over enroute to an airshow in Florida.I couldn't wait to read her book.As with past purchases thru Amazon.com I received the book within a few days. I started to read the book the same day and finished the same night. The message I got out of Julie's story is one of incredible desire to achieve her goals in life no matter what road blocks or Hoops she had to over come. She's quite a lady in all her actions.

This is a GREAT book about an icon in the world of female aviators. Julie overcame more hardships than most of us could ever imagine and has come through with an amazing attitude towards life! She never ceases to amaze me, even though I have known her most of her life.........

An American icon, and worth knowing her life's experiences.

She has performed at an airshow for us in the past and has done a fantastic job. Great person

Interesting read! I enjoyed reading about a fellow aviator's journey. Julie persevered to get to the top!
