durable and versatile
I'm you have a couple extra bucks to spare, this beauty is a must have. The roller has many joints, allowing for movement at many angles in many directions all while being sturdy. This is my second HAVIT product and I have to say I've been nothing but impressed.

A Very Good Incarnation of an Adjustable Laptop Table
I have had the Kesrer Aluminum Laptop Desk Mount Floor Holder Stand Adjustable Height with Wheels and Mouse Table Pad for Laptop/Notebook/iPad/Tablets (KSR-01) for over 6 weeks now, and I am very happy with it. It holds my 17 inch high performance laptop fine even when the arm is fully extended. I have it set up to the left of my living room recliner, and it maneuvers (on its wheels) forward and under my dogs custom bed which is also to my left. I find I use the arm and tables infinite adjustability often. I can swing the table up and out of the way quickly and roll the unit out so that I can get up easily out of my chair. The Kesrer is surprisingly stable and firm. There is a little bounce, but that is the case with any similar device. I have been careful not to overload it. I considered a Stryker hospital overbed table, and the SHARPER IMAGE Best Over Bed TableTM, Overbed Adjustable Tilt Table but they cannot maneuver under my recliner. The only other option I could find was the Able Life Able Tray - - Multi-Use Bamboo Swivel Tray Pivots 360 Degrees + Ergonomic Safety Support Mobility Handle + Adjustable to Fit Most Chairs Couches and Lift Chairs + Lifetime Guarantee , and I may yet get one for the right side of my recliner.I decided not to use the tank. Instead, I filled the center column with 17 pounds of heavy steel chain. I also replaced the bolts that secure the base and elbow to the column with ones twice as long. I also deduced that the curved three pipe elbow is made of spring steel. It is designed to absorb inadvertent bumps, knocks, and hits to the extended table. This allows the Kesrer to avoid acquiring permanent warps or bends. I could have added more weight to the center aluminum column, but I chose not too. This way really hard hits still allow the whole Kesrer rear to tip up and over the front wheels. This avoids overloading the spring steel elbow to its bending point.Meanwhile, the 3 piece steel arm segments prevent any twisting of the extended table. There is no slop in any of the arm components. Everything is precision built. The ratcheting arm adjustment mechanism also works very well. The table angle adjustment is also a precision set up.My Kesrer arrived with the box looking like it had made a couple of trips around the globe; however, all the components were fine inside. The included instructions are pretty good, and there were no missing parts. Personally, I would give the Kesrer 5 stars; however, I gave it 4 stars because some may find its assembly a bit too daunting a task.

broke in 2 different areas in less than a month
This ended up being an expensive piece of trash. The plastic parts on this are sooooo poorly made. Sad because the metal parts are well constructed. In any case it didnt last a month and became completely unusable and had to take it to a dumpster.

Stylish, smart design, worth the money compared to some options.
I love this thing! I was a little worried when I read some of the reviews, but let me assure you; there are instructions in English, the wiggle room is only present when the arm is inverted (the middle fulcrum point can be above or below the stand), and the weight of the water filled tank is sufficient. My only issue is that the casters don't roll smoothly on my hardwood floor. The unit drags on the sides of the wheels, instead of turning in the direction it's heading in. If I could, I'd replace them with much better casters.

Okay, BUT needs slide stop. Laptop wants to slide off.
It seems well made and I like some of the adjustability, BUT it doesn't have a slide guard for the laptop. When I have the laptop at the angle that I would prefer, it wants to slide off of the table. This would've been such a simple design problem to fix. Instead I have spent hours online looking for a patch. I do have the laptop attached with the provided piece of elastic but it is not ideal.

Great product
Great product overall. The tray lever is a little flimsy. My other tray adjustment part failed after about 1 year

Only 4 month till it broke
It hasnt been 4 month ,but the stand has broken twice in two crucial places. I spent so much money on the stand because i thought it would be durable. The first photo is why i am not using it now and the second photo does only show a place where it constantly breaks but i manage to keep it in by pushing it back, however when it falls apart it is dangerous since this piece is very heavy

Good solution for complex challenge!
As a person with orthopedic and mobility challenges, I looked a long time for a rolling laptop station that would work with my recliner chair and at bedside. I'm happy with this choice. A couple of notes for perspective buyers... The unit is designed to put water or sand in the base to counterbalance the weight of your device. (I have a large laptop and 3 very big dogs!) I wasn't comfortable with those choices. Another buyer mentioned, in his review, that he had put heavy metal chain in the hollow upright column. That's what I did, too. I did go back and add more chain after the initial assembly. Now the unit is very stable and meets my varied needs, including positioning my laptop for video conferencing and tele-seminars. It rolls well on my wood floors and, with a bit of practice, is highly adjustable.
