Excellent writing and very informative.
I learned a lot about how certain industries were started and enjoyed the drive displayed by these titans.Being born and raised in Cleveland Ohio, I especially enjoyed learning about Rockefeller.

Learning from the past
If you want to save time and become successful study how the tycoons from the past created their vast empires. This book did a wonderful job of painting a picture for us to learn from.

Pass on this author
I couldn’t finish this book. The writing is amateurish. “Facts” are written out of context. “Characters” are introduced willy nilly within the stories about the main subjects and events are not sequential. And we are told how great these figures are in short, choppy sentences that are poorly worded. At the rate this author puts out books, it’s astonishing that anyone can read them. As I can find no information on this author (I’m reading on my kindle app so I don’t have the benefit of the book jacket) I am curious about his background. Who is this guy? Might I suggest a writing course? I think I’ll try another author to learn about these business titans.

Really insightful, excellent & informative read
Really insightful read and background on 5 business titans of their time who helped shaped America in the late 19th Century/early 20th century and I am now looking forward to reading the authors equivalent book on business moguls who have helped shape the world in the late 20th/early 21st century, which I have just purchased on the bac of this excellent read.

My lord
I wrongly believed this would be a succulent and fulfilling book about the Titans of industry depicting illustrious lives and business fables. However, this is poorly edited with numerous grammatical errors, at times rendering sentences completely nonsensical. One would be forgiven for thinking this was penned in an exotic language and had fallen foul to the google translate, copy and paste pursuit by a pre pubescent child undertaking a school project at last minute
