I have an Old English Sheepdog and his hair gets to be between 7" - 10" long during the winter months. I have to brush him daily in order to avoid him getting mats. My mobile groomer used this product on him and as soon as I got close enough to him, I could smell it's heavenly scent. I immediately asked her what she had used and she filled me in. I know it was intended for horses manes and tails, but my dog has hair, not fur so there really isn't any difference. I use it daily when I brush him. He likes the scent so much that I have to stop him from trying to lick it off of his hair. I also use it on my cat because I could tell that he also liked how it smells. It made his fur so soft and he too almost wanted to try to eat it because it smells so good. It's not greasy, doesn't leave a build up after using it every day and you only need a small amount as it spreads quite well.

This stuff is the best detanglier I have used. Shavings slide right out with your fingers. It worth the money! Save a ton of grooming time.
