I’m not sure if this is a defect on the specific item I received or an overall design defect. My daughter loves the scooter but it was quite noticeable how easily the handle bar comes off when you slightly lift the handles. You would think that there is a locking mechanism that would prevent this from happening. I hope there is an option for Amazon to just replace the item with a new unit.

This is the perfect size for my kids ages 3, 5 and 8. It is very sturdy and easy to maneuver. The lights on the tires are super fun, making this a great gift!
