Burg-Wachter MB05A Anthracite Compact Wall Mounted Galvanised Steel Postbox - 26x33x9cm

Overall pretty happy with this, it had to go on the front of the house next to new anthracite aluminium windows frames and it colour matches perfectly and looks very smart and unobtrusive, just a bit annoying to have to unlock it to see if there’s anything inside, the top loading sort or ones with a window let you see in but this one is possibly more weatherproof and looks smart without the plastic window

Well made product apart from the fact one of the 5 post boxes ordered is defective with the word 'post' wrongly put on the inside of the box (down to manufacturing). This was not noticed until able to get them installed. Otherwise quite pleased.

Item is not as weatherproof as I expected it to be. The screws that come with it are useless so don’t use them. Once screwed in place the box feels more secure. The lock on the box is good.

Liked nice shiny colour and much more secure than my last one ,where the mail could just be lifted out without opening with key not very secure am happy with this one .

A, Screw and plug sizing inadequate, insecure, easily stolen even when mounted onto brickwork.B, Steel plate should be at least 2/3mm thickness.C, Lift flap mounting to frame undersized.To be secure, I drilled larger holes in the rear and increased the plug and screw and washer sizes.Incompetent design of a very simple product.Would I buy this Manufacturer products again ? NEVER !

Good quality all fitting stuff supplied. Great paint finish and does what it says on the tin.

Looks nice once on the wall easy to install if you know how to use a drill and screw driver.

Looks neat. Easy to install. Locks securely
