The Nordic Pure Merv 10 HVAC Filters (20/25/1 inches) work like a charm. With two dogs and two cats, I only need to replace it every 60 days, and my AC never suffers from clogged filter issues. Well-made and highly effective.

Does Carbon make a difference? I'm not sure. First time buying Carbon filters and to be fair I can't tell a difference. Had been using a higher MERV rated filter and still having the same amount of dust and scents in the house. Vents and ducts were cleaned just before buying the house and would have thought these would have help reduce some of the dust, especially in the winter when things are buttoned up. Easy to install and fit runs true.

I love these filters. I have three different air intakes and each of them are a separate sized filter.I've been getting these filters for over 3 years now and havent been disappointed yet. Its a great value for a nice filter.

These filters are sturdy compared to some others on the market. House has some oder and alot of dust from construction. After 2 months the odors are gone and the dust in the house seems less finally. The other filters were always really dirty and I change them every 30 days. These ones are dirty too but look like I could leave them in longer because they're more sturdy. I just bought a bunch at HD that were marked way down on price but they are really flimsy. I'll see pretty soon if tge air quality changes.

I made this myself I taped four of the filters together and just placed a fan on top of it. The filters themselves work really good for getting out stale air. My roommate does not smoke and I do but this cleans up the air great easy to make and the filters work great best value I found on these filters how long they last I hope to get six months, so will let you know then.

This filter has the highest MERV rating possibleAnd it does exactly that; it filters out everything.I live in an area that got hit by substantial forest fires, these filters filtered out all the smokeAt times that I couldn’t see the other side of our street.Mind you with that amount of particles , the live of this filter was two weeks, but comfortable two weeks.Pollen in spring are also no issue for this filter.

I bought a box of 12 and instead of a year it looks like they will end up lasting me about 3.5 months. After about 2-3 weeks of a fresh filter being put in the furnace starts making a whistling noise which will go away as soon as I put another fresh filter in. I did a test with the 3M kind I used before buying these and it lasted well over a month with no issues. I only replaced it because it was dirty but the whistling and air restriction only happens with these filters. It's unfortunate because these filters seem really nice. 2 stars one for each week they last.

Solid, quality construction. Air smells fresh.But it may be restricting the airflow too much because I get the warning that the filter needs changing more often on the thermostat. Maybe MERV 12 is putting a strain on the furnace. Don't know.I think that I would prefer a MERV 10 or 11 filter with carbon. I wish that had been an option.
