Why are there no reviews for this tent!
I am so glad I found this tent hiding on Amazon. What's not to like about it. It has everything that a high priced tent would have including a full coverage rain fly, footprint, fully taped seams, gear loft and more. It took me less than 5 minutes to fully set it up thanks to the easy up hub system and the inside had plenty of room for my pack, queen size inflatable mattress and more. There were a few thunderstorms that blew through during my camping trip and the tent held up great and the inside remained perfectly dry. If I was forced to give any complaints about it I would say that it is heavier than normal so I would not recommend it for backpacking trips. Other than that this tent should last me for years to come.

No. Ok at first but I need to replace one strut that broke after a few used and can't find a contact.

I wanted to love this tent
I wanted to love this tent. I figured the full rain-fly would keep the inside dry. On my first trip, the nights were real damp. The dew would permeate through the rain-fly and I would be awakened by big drops of water on my face. So, basically, the rain-fly is not made of suitable material. Then, we had some winds at probably 20 mph. The cheap poles could not endure the wind, so the entire side of the tent that was facing into the wind was completely concaved inward meaning the side of the tent was literally on my face and body. The difference between a good tent and one of the $30 WalMart tents is its ability to withstand moisture and wind. This tent did neither. This should have been a $30 tent, but I paid $100 for it. I think this is a huge rip-off. I already gave it to Goodwill after one use. I bought it based on the Bear Grylls name. I will never buy another Bear Grylls product again.

Fall would be a better time to use this tent
I bought the tent to use at a weekend long music festival. I tested the tent at home first, no problem! I put the tent up in less that five minutes but when I went to put the tent up at the festival, I noticed one of the two strings that you pull at the top of the tent for opening, came loose out of the hole or rail. I got help from two guys camping next door. They helped me manually (like an umbrella) pop up the tent. The tent did well in the rain and kept everything dry inside. Taking down the tent was a breeze! I will have to take the screw driver and take apart the tent where the string goes and try to reassemble it back in place? The other negative about the tent is it's color. The black tent color heats up rather quickly when using the rain-fly when the weather is hot outside! Fall would be a better time to use this tent! The rapid system, when working properly, is really nice !

5/5 stars, Perfect Tent!!!
On a two month car camping trip around the US, this tent wins as MVP of the trip. I love this tent! It really does set up in under a minute, we do it so often we've got the entire process including rain guard and stakes down to two minutes. I can not stress how worth the money that is- it saves SO much time! It is heavy so not for backpacking. For two of us it is huge inside, plenty of space and we are still discovering nice little features we never realized were there. I cannot stress enough the time factor- and ease of set up, not difficult whatsoever. However, I am 5'1" and I don't know if I could reach setting it up alone, a taller person may need to assist :)

Damaged tent
This tent is incredibly easy to set up!However, one of the plastic tent buckles to strap the cover on was bent when I received the tent, so I have been unable to fully strap the cover to this tent down. I don't know if there was a previous owner, or if it was always damaged like this, but it was a huge disappointment.
