Really nice tray ive had it on my rollcart for a few months now. And it's perfect. The socket clips are very fragile though and don't do well if you accidently pull the socket forward and not straight up. Luckily matco sells replacements for their brand trays that fit this one.

It is indeed serving its purpose. I got it for the center of my top drawer, between metric and SAE socket rails. It holds special and misc sockets. For the low $17 paid, it was worth it. It could be better, but I do think it is an improvement over the single metal socket rails that twist and bend, and the clips often fall off of. Time will tell, but I don't have a lot of faith in the plastic rails and clips. While I like that each clip uses a ball/spring like a ratchet, I don't like that some clips won't easily release the socket popped onto it, causing me to force it more than I would like. I expect when one clip does fail, that will be why. Hopefully when it fails just the single clips breaks, and not the rail it is mounted to. 4 stars for now as it is useful, and doing what I intended. As it ages, gets exposed to various temp/humidity changes, and gets used, I will update as long as Amazon will allow it....

Fits perfectly in the drawer where the drawer was a mess.

The socket holders work great and hold sockets tight but to remove and re-organize them is another story, the tab that holds the socket holder to the rail breaks very easily, this will cause the socket and socket to fall off the rail easily

Works well for holding sockets, I had a couple sockets that didn't quite fit but they did on my standard stamped metal holder. I filed a small jagged lip off the socket and it slid right on so I blame the cheap HF socket. One of the 1/4" holders was missing the ball detent so I contacted customer service and they responded right away and sent me a new one next day!

Over all I dig this setup for in the tool box drawer but if loaded I wouldn’t advise trying to carry them by the handle. I turn wrenches professionally an organization is one of my pet peeves. These socket racks definitely helped organize my torques and hex sockets as well as some of my specialty sockets. For what they are honestly I’m glad I went this route instead of a tool truck brand.

This product is entirely plastic besides the ball that holds the sockets in. The manufacturing on each of these little plastic pieces is inconsistent. Some of them let go of the socket super easily whilst some of them refuse to let go and you have to break them to retrieve your socket. The retaining clip on the end of each row is plastic, and it often breaks when trying to get the socket clips off. On a similar note you almost have to break them to get and of the 1/2 inch drive socket clips off, as they catch on them before they come all the way off. I had to stick a shim underneath to get it to let go. Overall infuriating product, even if it is cheap.

Seem well built, some of the balls to hold sockets on are a bit sticky but definitely hold the sockets in place. Nice design definitely worth the money. I would recommend this product makes organizing sockets a breeze

Purchase this socket organizer for my new tool box at work and wow i love it . I work in the trucking industry working mainly as an inspector for trailers . It works like a charm organizing all my sockets up to 11/2 and my metric up to 36mm and i could still install bigger ones if i wanted too . I leave mine stationary in my tool box and have not tryed carrying around mine by the handle but i did pick it up to see if all the sockets would hold and they did . It any tabs break the seller offers replacements by packs of 30 , i like that as some other brands you would need to buy a replacement unit , good of them to back us up . The metal base is sturdy and won't flex and the rails are plastic but well made . I was so impressed i purchased another but a 2 pack . After owning several other types and brands this one i highly recommend.
