It lives up to the claims.
I was skeptical to buy this since a few of the reviews say it's not actually a 2.0 rpm motor, but instead a 1.6 rpm. I am pleased to report it IS in fact a 2 rpm motor. I ran several timed tests and it consistently clocked 8 rotations at 3:53, so it's actually just a hair faster than 2 rpm. These tests were done with the auger tube full of pellets so the motor was under pressure. Very pleased with this. Hopefully I won't have to fight to get my Elite-34 over 300 degrees anymore when I want to grill. Will update if anything goes wrong with it.Update: I ended up ordering 2 more (one for my father-in-law, and one to keep as a spare for myself) and they all seem to be good quality as well. I ran timed tests to figure the speed over the course of 8 revolutions and they're all almost exactly 2 rpm.Motor 1 - 8 revolutions in 3:53Motor 2 - 8 revolutions in 4:04Motor 3 - 8 revolutions in 3:58One last thing that I think bears mentioning is that there is a learning curve if you've got a controller with an adjustable smoke level. I use Ortech controllers that have a "P" setting to adjust the smoke, and I get +/-20 degree temp swings if I've got the smoke setting too high. That being said, I can fiddle with settings and EASILY hit 450 degrees if I want to, or smoke low and slow, so putting in the time to learn how to work with it is well worth it to me.

Brought my Traeger Big Tex back to life!
Nearly replaced my 2015 Big-Tex with a new Ironwood series for ~$1,800. My grill's BTU output was gradually weakening and got to the point where it would barely reach ~350 then struggle to recover after raising the lid. This was summer in NC I'm speaking of. It just seemed to be starved for fuel. I decided to try replacing the auger motor for ~$20 just to see what would happen. It was really easy to change out, maybe took 15 min. I fired it up and it ROARED back to life! It took about ten minutes to exceed 450, the max spec for this older model. A few weeks later, and several cooks later, both hot and fast and low and slow, performance remains 100% restored. Best $20 I've spent in quite a while!

Basically, the same unit that is sold on the Traeger website but for far less money.
So, my old Traeger grill was struggling, and I had a choice of buying a new one and spending close to $1000 or more. The body of the smoker was in solid condition, so my decision was to rebuild the moving parts. These “aftermarket” parts are considerably less expensive than the ones sold on the Traeger website. Yet they are virtually the same. This unit works as promised was very easy to install and my trigger is running like it's brand new now.I replaced the thermostat controller, the fan motor, the auger motor, and the heating element. Total investment was about $125 for all the parts.

Was not a drop in replacement, but works well and I would buy again.
I have a very old Traeger grill that wasn't the typical shape. That made it a bit of a chore to install, but it may be fine on a newer model in the standard form factor. Rather than a standard hinged lid, my looks more like a roll top desk.I bought a newer controller at the same time. This motor feed a bit faster than the original which helps to reach a higher temperature. I should have upgraded years ago.

Best one yet
Perfect replacement, large Texan size grill easily attaining 405 F, quieter than my last motor. My Traeger is on its third auger motor since 2015, just a weak link in the system. This time the fuse kept blowing. Trick to diagnosing if it is the hot plug or the auger is to unplug both and then start the grill. Whichever blows once you plug it in is the culprit.Easy install, don’t forget to attach the cooling fan it ships unattached in the box.

1.6 rpm fits CharGriller 9020
Prefect replacement for char griller 9020, unlike some brands, this model uses the 1.6 rpm gear box. I did have issues with shipping breaking the fan and jamming up the motor. Easy fix, I just stole the fan from my old motor and removed the screws from the new, loosened up the jammed motor, added a bit of extra grease and the motor turned smooth again. My old motor was good, but it had stripped a gear. This allowed me to get back to grilling super cheap.

First item was defective ... Replacement worked fine
The 5 star rating is for the replacement item. First motor I received did not work at all. It was locked up tighter than a tick. No auger rod or fan movement on my Traeger grill ... just plain jammed. Contacted Amazon and had a replacement in 2 days. This one works just dandy and I'm back in business. Thanks to Amazon for a quick turnaround. Shame on the seller for poor quality control.
