Sadhu Sundar Singh, Called of God

I have not read the whole book yet, I am almost half way through it. I can say this book is Amazing so far. really amazing and its very inspiring to me. Sundar really lived a fascinating life for God. He really gave his life to God in a very consecrated and dedicated way > and he was willing to suffer for God, endure hardships for God, he gave up so much in life to walk in what God called him to do. Its unbelievable how far this man went in his dedication to God... and through it all God did big things through his life and MANY people were touched by this mans life.reading this book is very inspiring and its helping me to change things in my life for the better. every page of this books is fascinating to me... Its not a long book, but every page is filled with big concepts to ponder on and very inspiring.

Wow. That's the word for this book. The Sadhu is a Christian unlike any others - except maybe those of the 1st Century! This book gives some biographical info as well as some of Sundar Singh's teachings and parables. It was written in the early part of the 20th Century, so its literary style is different from what we are used to today. But my curiosity has definitely been piqued, and I will do more reading about and by this unique. righteous man.

This biography of "the apostle of the bleeding feet" is excellent. Sadhu Sundar Singh had an unique ministry. He believed that Hindus would listen best to his words if he donned the garb if a Hindu holy man, so he traversed India, barefoot, dressed as a sadhu, and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Reads well. Provides deep insight into those who are called from God compared to those who are self-promoters for God.It would be nice to see who is walking the sandal life similar to Sadhu Sundar Singh's today.

Always wanted to read Shadhu Sundars biography. Still have to learn a lot from saints such as these. This book was worth the time and price is super cheap. Enjoy the read. I personally learned so much.

Sundar Singh was an amazing servant of God and it will change your walk with God to read this. Great book.

This book reminds the reader of Jesu's words to "Pick up your cross and follow Him.''The joy of the Lord, which powered Sadhu Sundar Singh to perform God's work in taking the Gospel to so many people around the world, is very evident throughout this book.I highly recommend it to all readers whether of Christian, other, or no faith.

Must read for anyone seeking to walk with God. This book entails the life of a person who lived in a way that proves to mankind that nothing more Jesus Christ is necessary.

Quite amazing! Why have so few heard of him today? The language is quaint and dated, but the story is so gripping. hugely relevant today in my opinion. Anyone really seeking authenticity should read this amazing account of a remarkable man.

Wonderful book. It was a great blessing to read it. I greatly recommend it.
