5 stars so fa
I bought this for my Mini Countryman (R60) because the engine light has been on since I bought the car. Finally got the codes read and its the brake pump sensor that was the issue. So I bought this a stop gap until it fails and it warrants the proper OEM part at almost £130. Fitted last Saturday and up until yesterday, Thursday (6 days total), my engine light hasn't come back on. Usually the engine light would come on, after cycling the car off and on several times in 1 day. What I mean is, I leave my home with the light on, go to the supermarket and the light is on when I leave, go somewhere else and when I leave the light is on, then when I leave that final place to go elsewhere then the light is off. And then it would come back after a day or two when the car reregisters the fault. So far so good, no engine lights at all. No i haven't cleared the codes. But I will eventually.

Worked perfectly for BMW X1 E84 2016
Tricky to fit due to access, but fixed start/stop issue. Local garage had claimed fault was down to relatively recently fitted Exide AGM battery and wanted to fit a new Bosch one which would have been a waste of money.

BMW E90 Start/Stop Fixed!
Update: Worked for 1 week and then gave up. After doing a diagnostics check on my BMW E90 after the start stop system failed to work and show up an error it became evident that this sensor was the problem. After ordering the sensor and fitting it the error disappeared and the Start / Stop function is working perfect again. All done at a fraction of the cost of a main dealer.

It worked! Error gone
After googling and finding many people with the same stop/start error I purchased this suggested part. I was sceptical that the part costing less than a fifth of the genuine part price would work. My stop/start still doesn't work, but the error on my Mini has gone and everything else works fine, so I'm very happy with that. A garage repair would have cost hundreds of pounds for a tiny plastic widget. The actual repair does require removing wipers and part of the trim, but otherwise was simple to unplug and replace. If you're confident with that, go for it.

Start stop issue on Mini countryman Cooper D
Had an issue with start stop working. This part was relatively easy to access and fit. Once changed that was the problem resolved

It worked!
I was a little sceptical at first…how can a sensor for £20.99 make the Stop/Start work I thought. Well it did!!! Getting to the failed sensor was fiddly but nothing major (excellent videos on YouTube). BMW would have charged £150 for the sensor then £100+ for fitting! Fault code CC-ID 397 on 2011 R57 Mini Cooper D Convertible.
