My favorite LED GU10 so far. No doubt, the curve from a typical dimmer isn't going to dim these down to a mellow glow (get the right dimmers for that). But if you don't mind them coming on at around 50%, you're set. If you like BRIGHT, you're set. If you like the warm look of incandescent, these are as close as I've seen. To wit, advertised at 2700K and 38 degrees. At a glance, that seems right in the pocket. A bit less diffusion would thrill me - but probably not most. I can totally live with these at about 1/8th the power draw of my 50w GU10's. No greenish cast on warm woods like so many 3K lamps. The only things missing are the hotspots from the reflectors.

I used these to replace halogen lights in a church. They are even brighter than the 50 watt halogens I replaced, and make the colors in various hangings appear even brighter too.I was hesitant because the last time I tried LED spots, a few years ago, they were too weak. These were excellent.In doing research on LED spots, I learned that there are three critical issues, and if these are handled properly, the LED lights look great:Lumens - this should be at least 400Color warmth - warm white is best (2700K)CRI - this number should be above 90 and the higher the better. It represents accurate representation of colors.These bulbs are 500 lumens, 2700K, and CRI = 90 (the highest I could find on Amazon).

I started with the usual 50 watt halogen can lights through out house. During summer they would shut off due to heat. Elect bill was very high. Then went to very cheap led cool white lights. My house looked like an operating room at the hospital. Plus, when they were on I couldn't listen to the radio due to loud buzzzz! Saw these and took a chance after reading reviews. Amazon Prime is awesome. They were on my doorstep within 48 hours. Put them in and WOW! 1 more watt than the others but easily double the light. And, soft light. It's now very pleasant in all rooms as the warm light (lots of it) washes everything. Oh, and NO radio buzz. I love em and will purchase more. Love you Amazon.

I have had these bulbs in use for over 6 months. I like them very well except for one thing people should know. Of the 24 bulbs that I installed -- 2 10-packs and a 6-pack (which is no longer available) -- 3 of the bulbs failed after about 2 months. They started to flicker, and then got progressively dimmer and over a couple of days before finally going completely dark. A failure rate of 3 in 24 is over 12%. That's too high to be acceptable for bulbs that are advertised to last for 20 years. Time will tell whether there are further failures. I'm giving them 3 stars despite the failure rate because the price for them is so low.

These worked great for my replacing my original 50W halogens. I had some concerns for the living room where a set of 8 bulbs were controlled by a dimmer -- the seller provided excellent material to educate me on dimmer compatibility, so at least I would have some idea if things didn't work out. I asked some questions to the community and got great answers as well to help further set my expectations. Once installed, turned out it was no issue at all, though the community feedback was spot on -- they don't dim all the way down on the lowest setting, though I actually didn't need them to (why bother, just turn them off if that's needed), the lowest setting made it dim enough. Another smaller concern was size, as these track lights I have use receptacles that look mighty snug on the existing bulbs. Some were a little tricky to do, but all of the new bulbs fit, which was great. I'm really happy so far with the performance of these - all areas with the replaced bulbs are so much brighter (and now for less power).

I received my 10-pack last week. Installed 5 bulbs, and all of them are (so far) working OK. They have a more "yellowish" light than the normal LED lights, which is nice, and they are extremely bright (you really see the difference between a regular 5W GU10 and these 6.5W, they are much brighter).The only problem is that I have been using LED bulbs in my house for the last 3 years, and I have had a great rate of attrition. Many really don't last the advertised 25,000 hours. So I want to repeat it, this evaluation is based on a one-week use. I can't speak about duration.

These bulbs are great. Nice warm color that mimics halogens they replaced. No buzzing at lowest or highest dim setting. Only reason for 4 stars vs. 5 is that they don't dim very low. I'd say they only dim to 50% of their max brightness vs. the halogens they replaced that would dim down to 5% of max brightness. I have them in my office, which I always want fairly well lit, even at night when reading or working, so this doesn't bother me. But, if I had these in other rooms where I wanted to be able to dim down very low, I would need to look for another option. Excellent follow up from company immediately after purchase to make sure I was happy with them. I would buy other products from them and hopefully they are working on the dimmable range for these.

Only 6 of the 10 work now. The other 4 work as strobe lights, they keep on flashing on & off, irrespective whether they are full bright or low or anywhere in between. So effectively the cost is 40% higher. For that cost you might as well buy a reliable product.Update:The customer service is very responsive. After I provided proof of the LED's going defective, they very promptly shipped me the replacements.Hopefully these wont flicker, will post an update after a few months of use.
