La Crosse Technology 513-1419BLv4-INT Backlight Atomic Full Calendar Clock with Extra Large Digits

This a fairly large atomic clock with back light so you can read it in the dark. It has a stand or you can wall mount it like a picture. It works exactly as advertised and I had no problems with the setup.

This clock is super well designed.. thousands of times better than the others. Mine has a greyish blue back light.. and on the middle setting it reads perfect in the day and night.. not to dark or bright. There are multiple options for settings including the indoor temperature, alarm and more There is also options for desk top or wall mount... It is elegent and it always has the right time. And... it is super easy to set up.

THIS IS ONE OF THE VERY BEST ATOMIC CLOCKS OUT THERE. IT IS BRIGHT ENOUGH TO SEE ACROSS THE ROOM AND IS EASY TO SET UP. IT RUNS ON BATTERIES AS WELL IN CASE THE POWER GOES OUT

PROs big screen that when you get the angle right can be seen at least 50 feet off. nice back light that is a soft blue date with full day spelling if you want it (can be used to teaching) CONs you can really only see this clock looking dead on looking at it....right left up angle or down angle the screen fades to the point you see nothing or the whole screen looks like everything is lit up and you cant make out time. auto time set does NOT work in my area even when signal icon flashes like its picking something up. back light is so bright it will light up a whole room in the dead of night BACK LIGHT WILL NOT WORK WITH OUT POWER SUPPLY conclusion...... i would buy again knowing that where ever its place you need to make sure it can be angled to be seen in your most used location....you have to think of it like a flat panel TV that has bad panel....sit to far to anyone side and you just cant see the screen....so when thinking about getting this it comes down to "can i mount it in a place i can see it"......flat on a wall high up and you will never see it without being 20 feet out from the wall.....angle it to the farthest spot you need to see time and it will work....but hope to gods ever other place you want to see it from has a angle that wont let the screen fade or go pure black

Easy to read and will stay lit all the time while plugged in that is hard to find.

I got this to replace a non back-lit LED clock that had 2.5" digits. However without a back-light, it was hard to read the old display occasionally with my 55 y.o. eyes from across the room (18 feet or so). The time display on this unit has the large digits at also 2.5" with a back-light. It is GREAT! I can easily make out the digits. Using my Kill-A-Watt, I measured that the unit was only pulling 1 watt (@120V). Easy to set up. It requires 2 AA batteries (not supplied) for a battery backup. It will work without the batteries but if you lose power, you start from scratch again. Overall, the unit looks nice. It is sturdy and seems well built. The box it is shipped in is also well designed. It looks like it could go through most shipping systems with no trouble. The display is BRIGHT! The snooze button also controls the back-light intensity. High setting is very bright - night light bright in a dark room. Low setting is much better, maybe 50% of high. Still visible but not as bright. If you put the unit on a switched outlet AND you have installed batteries, then flipping the switch puts it into battery mode with is even dimmer. probably 50% of low and 75% of high. Of course, you'll go through batteries faster since most of the time will be spent in battery mode. Very pleased.

It works well, highly visible, and automatically adjusts from standard to daylight savings time.

Just want you guys to know I received my clock today and this clock of black stuff on the side that cannot come off so is this a used clock Did somebody else got this clock? Black stand on the side where the silver part is on the clock I tried to take a picture so you guys could see it.

The clock works well with batteries. The only issue in Australia is that the power supply doesn't work even using a plug adaptor from US to AU.

Can't give this a full review as it will be a Christmas gift for an elderly gentleman struggling with keeping days and schedule staight. But I had to try it out to see how it works and it does exactly what we hoped it would do. Large easy to read display to keep days and date staight from across a room and at an easy glance. The backlit display if needed is bright and makes it very easy to read. Don't know how it will work at night time but perhaps works great as a night light as well in a seniors room. Good product at a great price.

Excelente producto, las instrucciones un poco confusas, pero fuera de eso todo bien, el tamaño perfecto, y hasta ahora funcionando muy bien y llego antes de lo estimado.

Loved that the clock is AC(DC backup); Backlight Hi/Lo/Off(great night light feature); spells out the full weekday; short 3 letters for the month not #'s; alarms if required; wall or flat surface mount and nice large letters/numbers to see from across the room
