Not high grade plastic
The cup which holds the water is very thin and one does not feel comfortable with it. Fortunately I had my old cup and I am using it. It fits perfectly and the old one's build is too good.

Don't buy, it doesn't produce adequate steam. Either I got a faulty product or their quality is bad. I don't recommend this product at all. not worth the money we spend.
