Rubie's Super Deluxe Dorothy Wig

Suitable and fit well. Quality good for a costume

I ordered a medium in this dress. I'm 5'6". Fits perfectly! Its well made and so adorable, suitable for an adult. The only thing - it had a funny smell, not gross, just weird., so I made sure to wash asap. Smells great now and dried on a hanger in no time. I would recommend this costume.

I bought this for my Dorothy costume and the quality is incredible, the braids were thick and beautiful.

The wig is mildly adjustable with some hooks in the back, and I was able to fit all of my hair under it. I had pulled my hair back and worn a hair net to keep it in place, and then just used some bobby pins to keep the wig in place and it stayed on for the 5 hours that I wore it. It slid back a little but I probably could have fixed that with some more bobby pins. Or I may have just been paranoid that it was sliding and it may have been fine. Anyway, the wig is a nice brown color with a reddish tint to it. It covers the scalp nicely. It does have a somewhat shiny, plasticky look to it, but it's a synthetic wig for $20 and it was nicer than I expected. It definitely helped me to pull my Dorothy costumed together at a time when my own naturally brown hair was too short to be braided and curled properly. My days of planning when to dress up as Dorothy months ahead of time to grow out my hair may be over!

Got this to complete my Dorothy costume. It definitely does fit my melon of a head, but it for an officially licensed product, you’d think they would pay a little more attention to detail. The braids sit right alongside of the sides of the wig and not further up like it should. And that makes it look a bit awkward. If being “movie authentic” isn’t a concern, it’s a decent wig for the price. But if you’re going for that “movie” look as close as possible, you might be better off having your own hair done up or a wig you can style. Personally, I wish there was one made with Dorothy’s hair down and styled.

Perfection! Nice weight. I plan on using it for a photo assignment, but perfectly completes any “Dorothy” costume.

Nice wig but not the money for a wig that would only be used once

Great- bought for my husband to wear for Halloween- as he went as Dorothy & it fit perfectly. Very well made & good fit- also breathes well, not hot to wear & we were @ a huge Halloween Bash with over 1,000 people!
