Fiddyment Farms 1 Lb Fiddy Fire In-shell Pistachios

I bought several bags of Fiddyment farms pistachios in several flavors based on previous Amazon reviews, and I'm very happy to have taken their advice.I was unsure what to expect of a flavor called "Fire," and I have been positively surprised. First off, they definitely bring the heat as promised to the degree that you'd better have some water beside you when snacking on these ones. Secondly, beyond the heat these nuts have a great taste. I don't know how to describe it, but I'd say it's slightly peppery and very spicy-hot. I know some people prefer to crack them open with their fingers, but to maximize the flavor on any Fiddyfarms pistachios I would recommend sucking first on the shell. They're also very large pistachios, a nice upgrade from many supermarket choices. They're also extremely fresh with a nice crunch.These are heartily recommended for any pistachio lover. I'd also say the same for the barbecue and jalapeno flavors...I've found a good product, and I now can't imagine buying another brand.

I am one of those people with more than six dried peppers and pepper sauces in my cupboard: Tabasco, Cholula, Sriracha, etc., etc. I pick different peppers for different tastes and these are nothing special, for me. They taste like red-pepper flakes and not much else. The pistachio flavor kinda gets overwhelmed by the pepper so I didn't enjoy them much either as pistachios or as a hot snack.

We received Fiddyment Farms Chile-Lime pistachios as a gift, and I loved them. I ordered the Fiddy Fire along with a re-order of the Chile-Lime. I don't like the Fiddy-Fire as much as the Chile-Lime, but they are still very good and I would recommend them to anyone who wants a straight hot flavor.
