This is a strong performing unit.
I have a 16,000 gallon pool in FL. Mounted the control panel inside the screened porch, out of the weather. CircuPool has waterproof extension cables for longer distances (I needed 2 sets). Here is the good part... The control unit has 8 power settings. Remember I said 16k gallons in 95° Florida? Running the pump, and the chlorinator, for 8 hours at 2 bars setting is too much output. Running at the lowest setting is enough chlorine (4+ ppm) for my pool. I will be adding an adjustable delay-off timer to get finer control of the chlorine level. I am very pleased with this unit, and no more tablets-used-up days.

Easy install and works great.
Quick and easy install. Works great. Plenty of chlorine production at the half setting. My pool is 16k Gallons and this unit is rated for Max 25k Gallons.

Love it
This is so easy to use. So glad we decided to do a salt water system on our pool.

Doesn't work, nor does their customer service. Buy at your own risk! Better yet, buy something else!
It took over a week for me to get a good day to install the unit. It wasn't to difficult if your comfortable with electrical and plumbing work. Once installed and the water chemistry was good, I turned it on and thought to myself no more adding chlorine and constant checking. Boy, was I wrong. My chlorine levels dropped to less than 1 ppm despite the fact I bought an edge25 for a 16,000 gal pool. I set it at full power with no effect. I then took my cyuranic acid from 49 up to 70. No improvement. Called customer service and left a message. Never got a call back. My pool turned green. I ended up having to shock the poll 3 times a week to keep it clear and chlorine levels high. By this time I was running the unit on " boost" 24 hours a day. Every time I held back on shocking the chlorine would go back down to less than 1 ppm. I called the help line early one morning and finally got a human. I told him my issues and he had me do an on board diagnostic. The unit was pulling 5.8 amps but voltage was 1.8 volts, then 1,1 volts, then 1.4 volts. The on board diagnostic then informed me that I only had 400 hours of life on my generation cells! A new unit should have 3500 hours. I gave all that info to the customer service guy, who said he'd have to review with technical the next week. A week went by and I was told I'd have to send the unit back for their testing. By this time, there was no doubt in my mind that it was a manufacturing defective unit. I asked why couldn't I just swap out the unit for a new unit and was told that they had to test it and determine if it was defective or not. Mind you, the unit never worked from day one! They obviously don't respect the customer. It is now the middle of June and I doubt I will have a resolution this summer.Just for information, I have a Chemical Engineering degree from one of the best engineering schools in the world. I worked in manufacturing for over 30 year and got to the plant manager and director level at Fortune 100 companies. This company has manufacturing issues, problems with customer service and an attitude that will not accept a customer's concerns or input. Basically, they consider you as either ignorant or lying and treat you accordingly.

Not recommended.
Bought this unit two years ago and hooked it up to my AGP. Worked great for one season. Closed the pool and stored the unit. A year ago, when I reopened the pool, the unit wouldn’t power up so I sent it back to CircuPool (had to pay for shipping) and they sent me another unit. I thought the new unit was working but it didn’t appear to generate any chlorine. CircuPool told me how to test it on the bench using a bucket of salt water. It would turn on for about a minute and then reboot--did this repeatedly. Sent it back and they replaced it, again. The new unit had the same problem so I sent it back, again. They tested it and said everything worked great but they were sending me another unit, anyway, and the problem must be with my power. They said I should call an electrician and sent the unit back to me. Being September, I had already closed the pool. I just reopened the pool and, given their concerns about my power, I tested it at a friends house and it wouldn't even power up. I'm guessing they sent my failed unit back to me but I didn't write down the original S/N so don't know for sure. Very disappointed by this. The reviews were excellent. There is no money-back guarantee on this equipment. They will cover 100% of the replacement cost for the first year, so I only had to pay shipping. But, in the end, I paid over $1000 for a unit that lasted one season.

Nice Unit, Short Power Cable
The Edge 25 is huge improvement over the previous Circupool unit I had (SJ Series). The SJ just doesn't stand up to weather in Florida, but I chose to go with Circupool because of their outstanding support in the last 5 years. Florida kept breaking it... They kept re-building it. The Edge 25 head unit is much more weather ready...Unfortunately, it's built to replace a Hayward generator, so I had to re-plumb again... Fortunately, this mounts vertically, so it wasn't too bad.The ONLY reason they didn't get 5 stars on the install was the ridiculously short power cable that came with the unit. Half the length of the SJ. So, if you're wanting to mount this to the left side of the Intermatic timer panel... prepare to extend it.
