Nail Tek Xtra 4, Nail Strengthener for Weak and Damaged Nails, 0.5 oz, 1-Pack

I grow my own nails with the help of this NailTek! I've used this product for years and recommend it to anyone who wants to go natural. It works very well and quickly. I use it as a treatment and as a basecoat. I go through phases when my nails are really good, then I use it as my basecoat. When my nails go through a rough phase, I use it everyday as the direction indicate. There are different formulas but I just use the extra and cover all the bases! Excellent product and this is an exceptional deal! At my local beauty store this bottle is nearly $15, here I basically get 2 bottles for that price! A bottle will easily last 6 to 8 months.

A great polish for weak nails as it does strengthen them.

I recently had my artificial nails that I’ve had for many years removed. My original nails were left looking a horrible mess and I had no idea what to do. I decided to try this product and I was pleasantly surprised with the results. After several coats over 2 days it filled in the ridges and left my nails with a high glossy finish. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for something to help repair badly damaged nails. I wish I had taken pics before applying, however I’m posting pictures after using for 2 days. My reason for the 4 star review is because the odor is quite strong.

Keep your nails painted, daily. Use remover after a few days then paint them again. It's a bit of an inconvenience but I'll be darned if it doesn't work! I can always grow my nails long but this actually kept them long and not break

I was pleased with his product as worked well for me. However I found that as the bottle empties to about 2/3rds full it becomes very thick and would not spread evenly on my nails. Hence a 3 star for waste as I had to throw away 1/3 of the bottle.

There is a warning on this due to formaldehyde, but when you actually look at the research it’s formaldehyde GAS that is the cancer concern. And it has to be in large, consistent dosages.I definitely don’t want to be exposing myself knowingly to a real risk, but I don’t believe this is applicable here.I have a masters degree in environmental science as well so I’m not just oblivious to chemistry and biology.A tonnnnn of products have formaldehyde in them, but CA is the only state with warnings on it. Unfortunately the warnings are sweeping and not based of the physical state or administration of products.Cigarette smoke contains a TON of formaldehyde btw. In a gaseous state, which is the cancer causing form of this chemical.Yet here we are.
