This little feeder is adorable. It holds about 2 cups of bird seed, so it needs refilled often, but that’s not a big deal to me. I have a second much larger feeder on a shepherds hook & I’ve had a red headed woodpecker able to hang off the side of it & feed. This feeder attracts mainly chickadees, sparrows, and smaller birds (I believe cardinals are the largest bird I’ve seen feeding at this one). I actually cut down a few limbs in my tree to make a little alcove so the birds would have shade & a little protection. Squirrels are too heavy to get on this feeder without tipping it over. There is a plastic tightening mechanism on the loop of plastic attached to the roof of the feeder to keep bird seed from spilling out of the top if it’s tipped over from wind, weight imbalance, etc. It also does a great job of keeping the seed dry in rain & storms.One of my favorite things to do is just watch the variety of birds that visit my backyard. It doesn’t take anything fancy. I there’s beauty in simplicity, and this feeder is the perfect balance of simple cuteness & sturdy design. It allows the beauty of nature to shine & (at least in my backyard) it blends in nicely.

Though it is plastic and thus at risk from squirrels, I find it easy to fill. The birds will sit all the way around because they can't quite see each other-they don't run each other off each other on this type of feeder.

This is a small, easy to fill feeder the house finches love. Because Amazon packed it loose in the shipping box with literally one air pouch, a piece of the clear top lip broke off. It wasn't worth returning, so I used it with the sliver missing.

The spring "stopper" to keep the lid on the feeder seems very weak. If a larger bird uses the feeder and leaves quickly or bumps its head on the lid the lid slides up the wire and the feeder tips to the side. I've had to fashion another type of clip to keep the lid on.

Have a similar style to this but this one is much easier to open. Birds love it. Nice feeder.

Very sturdy for being light weight and functional. Easy to fill and keep clean. The little birds love it. Great price and super cute.

It comes with wire but you can not adjust the length. It is about a foot long and when strong wind blows, all food goes to ground. There is not a good lock mechanism. It comes with a plastic -kind of- lock but basically it does not work. It is all plastic, top looks like copper but it is not.
