Useful for removing stripped screws from electrical panel

I have a near-complete set of Engineer Neji-Saurus pliers (there is a larger size of vise-grips) so when I ordered a miniature, $30 pair of pliers, I guess I was expecting more than a set of rebranded, poorly finished, Chinese vise-grips. These have rough spots, and the teeth are DEFINITELY not up to the stellar Engineer standards - not only are they not meshed, some of them are so blunt that they aren’t even there, technically.Whatever. If it means I have them all then I guess it’s fine, but be aware that, if you love the quality of Neji-Saurus like I do, these aren’t them.

Engineer makes the pliers sold by Vampliers, so if you are searching for a more budget friendly version, Engineer is the way to go. These are the smaller version of the vise grip style screw extractor pliers. I love the locking action (other than wishing it was the normal lever release style) to grip onto broken screws and studs. No complaints and have been using them or my other engineer pliers when I have a tough situation.

今回もザウルスには裏切られましたこのVP-3は先端が開き気味になり、ネジ頭が滑ります横方向には強いですがボルトを回すには良いのでしょうがトラスネジ頭ではクランプが引っかからないので滑ります今回はスリーピークスDS165の方に軍配があがりましたエンジニアさん頑張ってください

現物を見るまで、理屈がわかりませんでしたが、見たら「なるほど」つぶれたネジ頭で、抜くことも入れきることもできず中途半端な状態だったネジが、無事に抜けましたパッケージの「使い方」通りやれば、問題なく使えます

陸上用スパイクシューズのポイント？がどうしても抜けずこの工具を試しに購入しました。1発目は不発に終わり気を新たに2発目。少々慎重にセッティングして『いざ！』っと思ったのも束の間スルリと取れました。呆気なさ過ぎて感動すら無かったですが購入した甲斐はありました。今後この工具に肖る事はあるのだろうか？と思う今日この頃でした。

ネジザウルスって単語を知らなかったので購入後、過去諦めたナメしたネジとの闘いを思い出してこんな素晴らしい商品があったのかと感動しました。バッテリー工事とかを行っている友人は本商品でも諦めないといけない場合はある、と言っていましたがDIYが趣味、程度の一般人にはこれで十分でしょう。

木ネジの頭がねじ切れて、ペンチで挟んでも滑ってしまってびくともしなかったのに、これを使ったら頭が取れたネジの部分をガシッとつかんで簡単に回すことができました。ネジザウルスの先の溝の部分が負けて削れてしまうことを覚悟しましたがゆっくり回したら大丈夫でした。
