This worked perfectly for my sons needs. Stops everything from going down the hill. Haven’t tried a golf ball yet. But I don’t see a issue as long as you allow the net to move. Which ours is on a zip line so it can be pulled out of pulled back and behind house.

Golf balls will go through the holes of this net. 100% no question. I have a sky track launch monitor in my garage. The net sits about 3 feet in front of a wall mounted TV. I hit some hard shots into the net and did a slow motion video from the side to make sure it was far enough back to not put my TV at risk. Then me and a few of my buddies start hitting drivers and after about 20 shots the ball smacks into my drywall right below the TV. Net barely moves but somehow the ball is past it into the wall. We think maybe the ball went under the net somehow so I add some steel bars across the bottom of the net (there’s plenty of slack sitting on the ground so it wasn’t stretching out the net or anything). Few more hits and another makes it through. Bam. Straight into the wall just under the tv. So I’m thinking ok there’s no way it magically went under the net. The net goes floor to ceiling so it couldn’t have gone over it either. My sky track shows that it was a beautiful 260+ yard drive. And yet somehow there’s a golf ball stuck in my drywall. I try using my hands to force a ball through the net holes but there’s no possible way it will fit. This happened 3 more times before we decided it was way to dangerous to keep hitting drivers or fairway woods. We switched to irons and wedges and there’s no issues. My best guess is that as the ball is flexing inwards and outwards after being hit that if it hits the net while flexing longways kind of like an egg the ball is a bit smaller and will fit through the holes of the net. I now have 5 holes in my garage wall I have to patch and am very lucky I mounted my TV high enough that the closest ball put a hole in the wall 6” below it.

This is a decent quality net but be aware that being out in the sun will leave this net changing color pretty quickly. I actually got this to setup on flag poles bordering my property because I live on a golf course and my house is unprotected from errant slices. It does do the job but I do wish it were a little more aesthetically pleasing. Still, if you need a golf net and you're not worried about sun bleach then this is a very solid option.

This is a fantastic sports net! I purchased this net to stop basketballs from ruining my neighbors garden. Okay, I have an aspiring 10 year old NBA superstar that frequently clanks jumpers off like nobody’s bidness. That’s fine, he’s 10, he’s learning. Well, my neighbor has a garden adjacent to our driveway court that gets shelled by my boy’s inaccuracy. Subsequently, I decided to spare my neighbors tomatoes and put up a sports net and it worked great. This net stopped everything. I’ve thrown footballs, b-ball’s, baseballs, everything! Buy these nets with confidence! They work great and are weather tested!$

A LIFES-SAVER!! We live at the top of a super steep hill and just put a basketball hoop up. We ran a cable from the house/garage to a tree and used little caribeaners to hold net up, it slides across perfectly. Sturdy, solid, reliable net. Needless to say, we are super happy with our purchase.
