Ultimate Ears Hyperboom Portable & Home Wireless Bluetooth Speaker - Black (Renewed)

As this was the ONLY peloton compatible brand, and I have their smaller speaker in my shower (my shower Blast /Boom is international!) I thought, meh let’s try this out. So now I host neighbourhood Peloton classes, Adrian Williams blasting through the neighborhood at 5 am! She is a loud one. She is portable. Sound quality is excellent. And the clarity is spot on from both production and blue tooth connectivity. Not too heavy to carry downstairs and in the garden to annoy the neighbours with some summer cool jazz. Why doesn’t anyone like jazz music anymore?

Hyperboom is the absolute Best. I work in the operating room and a Neuro Surgeon owns one he calls it the Neuroboom. This Hyperboom has all the other Operating Room suites so jealous they made him lower it volume because they couldn’t focus with the volume up. I’ve had mine for about three days and I can’t turn it off…Amazing portable speakers 5 Stars all the way

Great bass. Sound quality is far superior to others I’ve tried. Took it to the beach and battery lasted the whole day at 75% volume.

Great speaker have two of these one I’ve had for three years no issues. The other one I had for a year battery went bad. Amazon would not help me. Had to take it apart myself and buy a new battery which is currently on the way ordered another speaker so at least I would have two so I continue using them both when I ordered the second replacement speaker. It came quickly. Speaker worked great but did not come with original charger came with a target laptop charger, which is not compatible with the speaker and would not charge the speaker contacted Amazon for the original ultimate ears charger they assured me it’s gonna be sent to me but again Amazon Customer Service was not that helpful. I asked them who refurbishes these speakers and to do a quality control check and they could not give me any answers and would not help me. I do not want to buy a brand new speaker for the three to $400 price range. I love the product. It works good have no problem putting another battery in it or buying the correct charger for the speaker, but either Amazon or the company needs to do the right thing and send the correct product and if they are in fact, refurbishing these products as advertised there needs to be new parts installed and they need to be product tested in quality control needs to be passed before they are sent to whoever purchases them so just a message to the company or Amazon if they’re reading this please do everything right provide correct charger. If the project is a refurbished product, please make sure whatever was replaced is replaced not just said it was and have defective products left in it. I really don’t want to not do business with Amazon or the company anymore, but these things need to be properly refurbished and come with properly factory parts in at least guaranteed to work longer than a year enough said other than what I mentioned is a great product and a good sounding speaker.

First one i received looked like it got through the rebuild stage untouched, didn't function and was in rough condition. When I called to return, the process was great and the next one I received was perfect! Sound quality is great as well as bass level. I use it constantly, especially when camping.

As someone who has never spent more than $50 on a Bluetooth speaker I am super impressed. I have a friend with a $150 Bluetooth speaker and this Hyperboom is 3 times better and 4 times smaller. Other Bluetooth speakers just seem pathetic now. T H E S O U N D: Nice and clear. Like I said other Bluetooth speakers seem pathetic (speakers up to $150 and maybe even up to $200) I’ve yet to put this up against a JBL Boombox or any similar Bluetooth speaker of that range. I did watch a bunch of compare videos on YouTube before making the purchase and the UE Hyperboom would usually win. The bass is great if you like hip hop/rap music. Don’t get me wrong it’s not going to be better than a set of speakers + subwoofers connected to an amp, but for wireless this speaker rocks. I play it at work (I work in a digital print shop) loud enough to be heard over two flatbeds running and the bass can be heard through walls in the other departments lol T H E P R I C E: The price though… it is pretty pricey. Bought mine refurbished + I signed up for the Amazon store card which dropped the price even more to $260. A great deal. T H E A P P: The app is nice. I have a certain setting that I found on Reddit to set the equalizer which sounds better than the default flat. T H E D E S I G N: I love the simplicity of the design. It looks great anywhere in the living room without calling too much attention to itself. Another reason why I chose this over the jbl boombox. It does have some weight to it though. And there are times where I wish I had something like the UE Megaboom instead of this bulky guy. That feeling goes away once set it in a good spot and power it on. U S E: For outdoor parties, by the pool, in the living room, watching movies, it’s great. At parties I’ve had it almost at max power and I even used it during my 10 year high school reunion. It was great people loved it. By the pool I place it about 30-40 feet away and keep the volume around 75%. No need to have it blasting at full volume next to our ears. Living room while entertaining guests I have it around 30% so as it sets the mood but we’re not trying to talk over it. Watching movies/videos is great with this thing. I usually play a YouTube video while washing the dishes. Sound syncs up great with the video. At the beach it’s a little tricky. I’ve taken it to the beach once. I was very careful and placed it on top of my skim board to keep it away from the sand. Would probably have to get a shop vac to the sand out if it were to be knocked over. Honestly this speaker is a little too big for the beach. I know the point of the beach is to enjoy the scenery and sound of waves but when it’s packed like at Myrtle Beach, SC and you have two families on each side blasting music on speakers it would be much better to have something more compact. BUT if you want to completely put their speaker to shame this is one speaker that can do that job IF you want to end up being THAT GUY lol. It has its pros and cons but for the price that I paid for this speaker I honestly love it.

My husband loves this speaker he use all the time when he is working outside the house. The sound it emits is very loud and you can hear it from miles away. You can use it to liven up a party or a family event.

Wow, the sound of highs, Mid range and Base is incredible. When paired with another Hyperboom it’s like your at a concert. Loud, crisp and not distorted sound. Absolutely love this speaker
