Deep Clean, works well!
This product gives hair a deep clean and removes all buildup. I recommend using khadi’s Rose Revolution after using is will counteract the charcoal in the cleans.

Greate customer service and solid product
First of all the customer service is absolutely top notch. There were problems with delivery and I was convinced that it was lost. After couple of emails they sent me replacement package. All the time they were professional and super nice.Mask definitely gives you a feeling of deep cleanse. You just need to be careful to add just a little bit of water and don't let it to get into your eyes because the charcoal in the mask will make them super dry. It feels really good to use this mask to prepare your hair for using a hair dye.

Smelled like a bonfire, hair was trashed
I cannot recommend this to anybody. It was a mess to apply, took 20 minutes to rinse out, and dried out my hair so badly that I had cut several inches off. I couldn’t even get a comb through my hair with leave-in conditioner and detangler applied. To add insult to injury, I stank like a bonfire for more than a week afterward, even using my regular products which have a decent amount of fragrance.I’m still trying to get what hair I have left back in decent condition a month later, but it remains a frizzy mess of flyaways and it breaks far more easily than it did prior to using this product. I had really healthy hair before this and now it’s worse than when I used to bleach it in my 20s. (I’m over 40.)Stay far, FAR away, especially if you have curls.

Be careful if you have blonde or fragile hair
I have platinum blonde hair that has been bleached a few times. I wanted to detox my hair to potentially transition to a natural hair dye and color. I always do test strands even with natural products and I'm glad I did. While this detox did make my hair squeaky clean, my test strand felt fragile and brittle after. I didn't see any breakage but I also didn't dare to use it on my whole head. It did seem very drying and for bleached hair that isn't a good thing. I'm not convinced this is a necessary step to using khadi color as I've done many test strands with and without the detox and there didn't seem to be any difference. I think a clarifying shampoo could work just fine and not be so abrasive to the hair.

Actually works!
I used The detox mask before I colored my hair and it was really easy to apply. I like that you only needed to add water. Are use my hands to apply it and left it on for 30 minutes and it worked great!I love that the detox mask left my hair feeling clean and very soft.

Highly Recommended
I used the Detox Mask before coloring my hair, and it did a great job of eliminating the build in my hair. I found that using a soft brush was easier than a comb right afterward while my hair was still wet. When my hair dried, it was so smooth and soft. I recommend this product!

Eye Irritation Was Excruciating
I followed the instructions, which mentioned to keep out of the eyes. When I rinsed it out, I kept my eyes closed but the water that ran over my closed eyes instantly burned my eyes. The pain was EXCRUCIATING! I rinsed my eyes out after I got enough out of my hair, but the pain increased terribly.I had to wash my hair to get all of detox out, and I conditioned my hair because the powder left my hair so course and dry.My eyes hurt so bad. I rinsed them out more, but the pain made me nauseous. It felt like I had a billion needles in my eyes. Closed, open, any movement was simply excruciating. I sat in the bathroom for an hour tending to my eyes. Luckily I had eye drops that helped flush them out. But my eyes were swollen, deeply red and watering for two hours. The eye boogers helped best as my eyes cleaned themselves.Honestly, the experience was traumatic, the pain remained for an hour, the deep redness/swelling/watering lasted for two hours. And all day my eyes have been irritated, and gushes of eye boogers all day. My vision is still bothered.I’ve never experienced pain like this and I will never ever be able to use this product again. I got it to prep my hair for henna, which I’m still excited to use. As I’ve used henna before. But this product, oh no. Caution recommended!!!As for its usefulness in removing buildup on hair, I’m not sure. I can’t comment on that.
