A wonderful read
This book makes you wonder if this could be non-fiction! I couldn’t put it down. I want to read the sequel!

Good story
This is a good story that is not quite up to the level that I am used to from Patterson. It has a crazy plot with an ending that was a little anticlimactic.

Excellent..ending was a surprise to me. Couldn’t put the book down and kept me on the edge. Can see this happening.

Good but not what I've expected from Patterson
The story is so close to reality that part is good but I think it was too easy for the family to fool the store,

A fast-paced fun read
My husband, Mitch surprised me with this book, because he knew I really liked Patterson's novels. Surprise, I would not have bought it myself, if I had read the the low reviews when it first came out ! Well, I would have missed out. It was a fast-paced, well written, fun read. I did not expect the ending chapters !It was the way the future seems to be heading, not a far out there concept at all. I have faith it will not become a reality, or will it!

Going to the Store? Just Keep Going.
I hesitated to write this review only because this book is so bad that I was afraid I wouldn't be able to stop once I started.I don't know what the division of responsibility was between Patterson and DiLallo, but they should both be shunned by readers and writers alike. I mean seriously, can no one say No to Patterson? The characters were one-dimensional and that dimension was unlikeable. The plot, such as it is, is as thin as tissue paper. The book reveals itself as a stinker very early on and it just never gets any better. In fact, it gets worse. The ending is as contrived as everything that comes before it. In fact, it makes the rest of the book even more implausible, and that's saying something. It is actually hard to not feel personally insulted when presented with a book this bad.

Not My Favorite
This is quite the departure for a James Patterson book .I much prefer the crime/mystery genre. This book pretty much describes society today .Our privacy is gone whether you realize it or not .We have a " Store " very similar to the one in the book .We are spied on from every direction so reading about it in this book did not appeal to me .Soon it won't be fiction but fact .Not an enjoyable book to read by any means .

Great premise, rushed ending
This book grabbed and held my attention..... that said the ending was not worth the buildup. It was quickly packaged and delivered, filling some plot holes but leaving others.

Interesting futuristic story a la 1984
Good story line. Starts a bit slow. End is quite intersting. Very relevant in today's AI and tech environment vs. individual freedom and privacy rights
