Perfect compact wallet
I agree with most of the positive reviews of this wallet. The leather feels soft and the wallet is compact. There are more than enough card slots for me. I carry ID and a couple credit cards, a debit card and some cash. I also have my proof of car insurance (two pieces of paper) tucked in one of the slots. This is perfect. I am surprised at some of the negative reviews that mention that the wallet gets large if you load it up or that you can't put more than one card in a slot. If I needed to carry around wads of cash or 15 credit cards, this wouldn't work. Just take a moment and stack up 9 credit cards/ID or whatever you have. This wallet, if you fill every slot, is going to be at least that thick. You should not expect it be magic or some kind of sci-fi device that reduces the size of the objects put inside it.After having this wallet for a while, I finally had a chance to test the RFID feature and I can report that it worked for me. With my old wallet, when I used my chip card to pay for the local light rail, I just held up the wallet to the scanner with the card inside and it would read it. I tried that with this wallet, laid it directly on the scanner, both front and back, also opened the wallet and tried from inside and nothing happened. I had to pull the card out of the slot for it to register on the scanner, so as far as I am concerned this feature works as advertised.

Holds 8 cards, but if you have that man it's no longer "slim"
I purchased this item because I prefer to carry my wallet in my front pocket, usually opting for those identifying themselves as a front pocket wallet or slim wallet. Most thin wallets do not have a location to place cash, or in my case, receipts, which I collect for work and need to keep available for expenses, so this one seemed like a nice compromise. I don't like carrying a traditional wallet and have had a great wallet for years but the old one was failing and so it was time to upgrade.Well, got the wallet, placed all credit and debit cards on the inside card slots, used the outside slots for my Costco card and my library card, put a few bills and receipts on the inside, then closed the wallet, doesn't fit in my front pocket. (sad face).I guess technically all wallets could be called 'front pocket' wallets, and it does not offer any qualifier as to why this one is better for a front pocket instead of a back pocket. As long as someone is okay with a 2 inch thick bulge of wallet in their front pocket, then this is fine. If you're most accustomed to the 1/2", or smaller versions, this just becomes a regular back-pocket wallet.

Fit for its purpose
I've had it only about 6 days, so far so good. The card slots are still a bit tight but I anticipate with wear (but hopefully not tear) they will loosen up and be easier to pull a card from each. The wallet being replaced had more 'stuff' than this one has capacity for, but that was part of the goal in getting the new one -- downsizing. Only other issue to be wary of -- relating to the card slot size, my old one could hold 2-3 cards in each slot, this definitely will hold only 1 card per slot, even after it loosens up (I speculate).I have no idea about the RFID blocking aspects. That's not why I bought it but if it works, great. I just have no way to tell (since I don't own a skimmer/scanner device to test it with).

Not too bad
Nice wallet. Not as slim as I would have liked, but it does have 9 card slots and an external ID window that when filled, add thickness quickly. Leather is satisfactory, but not as nice as the Fossil I recently acquired. I do like the RFID protection. And, despite claims to the contrary, US currency does fit into the bill slot without folding. I was able to fill the internal card slots, the external ID window and still put several bills into the currency slot without folding. There is little, if any, slot room to spare though.

Thicker than I hoped loaded..
...but still a very high quality wallet. The RFID block works perfectly for the slots on the inside (we have an RFID reader at work and it didn't detect anything until I took a card out). Seems very sturdy so far and the front window for ID is crystal clear. If I had anything negative it would be packaging. The wallet has paper liners inside it; then it's wrapped in plastic, placed in a liner, put inside a box, wrapped in bubble wrap and then put in the envelop for shipping. Overkill, but at the same time the wallet was in great shape when it arrived and all the material was recyclable.

It has everything I was looking for:
Well organized wallet that will hold unfolded dollars and 6 cards inside the wallet. Having the ID pocket available on the front outside was a feature I was searching for along with being able to holda couple bucks when i have some! This will be my third wallet in the last year, I'll update at a later date. Feel free to ask if you have any questions about the quality in the future.P.S. 1.5 years later, the wallet is still in good shape and always in in use. I forgat to add that this wallet is thin enough to use in the front pocket.

but never found one he was happy with no matter which pocket he put it in
I bought this for my husband. One of many, but never found one he was happy with no matter which pocket he put it in. Like most he has stopped sitting on his wallet, but most were too bulky for front pocket. This one is great! He is very happy with all the slots for cards, it stays folded and is not the blob in his front pocket. Now he's happy with his wallet, we feel safe with the blocking capability and I can now focus on purses instead of wallets for him. Thank you--great product.

The only thing I've noticed that is a possible negative ...
The only thing I've noticed that is a possible negative is that it is hard to spread the bill compartment open to get my fingers inside to insert or remove bills. Having said that, I suspect it may be primarily due to the newness, or maybe too many cards, and expect it will improve with time and wear.
