Cloud Defensive LCS Fits Streamlight ProTac Switch Mount Plate Picatinny Polymer FDE

Looks like it will hold the pressure switch for my Streamlight TLR-RM2, fits great BUT, and this is a pretty big but, the one I received came with two set screws, for securing it to a rail, that are two different lengths. The shorter of the two screws is too short to even touch the nut on the opposite side, rendering the screw useless. This is either an annoying mistake or a huge design flaw, and I’m not sure which would be more irritating. Can’t really use it until I find a screw that’s the right length and size to work with the nut, or find a new screw AND a new nut that will fit. Doesn’t work out of the box, so I’m giving it three stars. I’ll update the review if the seller makes it right. *UPDATE: I wrote that I would update this review if the seller made this right, and they did. They mailed me replacement hardware, and two new screws that were long enough. Good customer service goes a long way. Thanks.

The Cloud Defensive LCS is a great, solid way to mount your remote tape switch to a picatinny rail system. The setup is fiddly as you are mounting and assembling the LCS at the same time, but once you have it in place you can see how rigid it is. You might think that the screws you were provided were short, but they are not. The polymer side pieces will snap firmly onto the center piece and once in place it's very easy to screw it all together. Reading the instructions and/ or watching a YouTube video on assembly will save you a lot of headache!

Installed on a Barnes precision rifle with Barnes m-lok rail. Not a cheap rifle. Standard 1913 pic rail. Either the screws on the mount are slightly too short or the mount is manufactured incorrect. I had to squeeze the mount with a wood clamp to allow the screw to reach the other side. I would recommend purchasing the 6160 aluminum cloud defense mount as I own 2 of those and had zero problems with install

This is my 3rd tape holder, secures it well enough to warrant purchasing more than 1.

After working with this stupid thing for about 30-45 minutes thinking I just wasn't aligning it correctly I discovered that the screws were too short to reach all the way through the picatinny and grab onto the nut. Saw a ton of reviews saying the same thing. Very disappointing quality control from a company known for great products. Don't ignore the 1 star reviews guys!

This tape switch mount is very nicely made. The fit and finish is superb, tolerance between pieces is excellent. I would highly recommend the mount for anyone looking for a solid and low profile mount to attach their tape switch to the foregrip.

Installing it can be complicated IF you don’t have an Allen key that goes into a screwdriver, you’ve got more grip and you’re easily able to install it over a regular Allen key like the one provided. No wiggle play or sliding when it’s installed, good addition by the built in wire hider, all around a great piece. Would’ve loved a CD sticker though ;)

Super convenient but way to much money for plastic. I thought this was aluminum. Its flimsy.
