They are as described, however they do not have a ball race on the axle, (just a plain sleeve bearing), the only ball race is on the plate that allows them to swivel in different directions.Also there is a strong and mildly offensive smell from the rubber tyres, although tha5 may fade with time.So mine will be going back, as for a few pounds more there are better made, (with ball races on their axles), which I would prefer.

I built a ride on railway for my grandson, which runs through my workshop. I have a side maintenance for working on locos/wagons when needed but I needed to be able to move them between tracks, locos can weigh anything up to 250kg with 2 x 90ah batteries fitted so I decided to build a DIY gantry with an electric winch and timber I had around the workshop. Building it was easy enough but I needed it to be mobile. I had some old wheels from B&Q from a few years ago, they were fine for rolling up and down but weren't great when the wheels needed to spin (for changing direction etc) so I opted to give these ago. They arrived nice and quickly after ordering.Winner, these wheels are great. They glide effortlessly and spin and turn with a 250kg load as if there was nothing on them and they are silent. To top it off there's no play in the bearings which gives my gantry a nice solid feel whilst remaining full mobile.I would highly recommend these if you are looking for something well built that will move loads effortlessly.I'll be getting more the next time I have a project that needs to be mobile.

Solid product. Not as smooth as expected. It is hard to change direction and the rubber sometimes leaves some marks in the patio (nothing major though).

Exactly what i wanted

As described, sturdy, turn freely and wheels rotate freely without excessive play.

Does everything it says on the tin. Used to give a large and heavy coffee table the manoeuvrability it needed

Does not swivel smoothly. Flimsy construction. One of the locking wheels as damaged. Metal inside was bent.

These castor wheels were exactly what I needed to turn an old pallet into an outside table. The locking function keeps the table secure but makes it easier to move around when needed.
