Vidi per primo il film al cinema, tanti anni fa. E nel pieno del terrore nucleare, "Quando soffia il vento" fu una mazzata che neanche "The Day After"!Questa graphic novel, da cui fu tratto il potentissimo film, è ancora più devastante. Senza le scene aggiunte dalla produzione cinematografica, l'intimità di questa adorabile coppia viene vieppiù messa sotto l'impietoso riflettore, come in una pièce teatrale. La cieca fiducia nelle istituzioni, l'ottimismo di fronte ad una realtà inimmaginabile, fanno di questa storia un colpo allo stomaco, un colpo narrato con tinte acquerello, con un font quasi infantile, con uno svolgersi degli eventi senza soluzione di continuità. La morte non si fà annunciare da montaggi ad arte, arriva quieta quieta mentre chi vive pensa ancora di stare vivendo.Un racconto che, purtroppo, oggi ritorna in voga potente come 40 anni fa...

Poco se puede decir de un clásico del cómic tan maravilloso como este. La edición respeta el tamaño original, se lee claramente y se aprecian todos los detalles del dibujo del autor.La portada debería haber sido la del cómic original, no la de la peli de animación.
