I thought I'd comment on a year's experience with the Samsung. It's proved to be a very good, reliable machine and a delight to use, day-in day-out (it gets a lot of use).

Ordered on Nov 30th 2021, a few days ago it began overheating now it cuts out shortly after start up, I installed a temp monitor, the four cores regularly reach 92 degrees plus and the software closes it down.this is not a good look for Samsung given the laptop is not in continual use, is always used on a smooth surface and the vents are clear. it appears a problem with this computer looking at other reviews elsewhere. avoid at all costs.this is an update on my ealier reviews based on lack of Samsung support. and my final communication with them on Facebook.Thank you for your reply but as noted in my earlier messages there is no sign of a serial number on the outside of this laptop, see attached images of top, bottom, and keyboard on this machine.I note this is the first time I have had a problem with Samsung products, it’s the quality of support which sets a company apart from the competition, unfortunately this support is not fit for purpose, from the web site which did not allow any email contact, offered non-existent support chat which only sent me back to the support page and now the less than sparkling contact I have had here.This ends of association with Samsung. My Samsung book will be replaced by a non-Samsung product and the Book will be used on battery sitting on a cooling fan support until it no longer functions and get dumped in the recycling bin.This is a two and a half year old computer, my 10 year old Acer laptop is still plodding on slowly but starts up, never overheats and shows the sort of reliability lacking with Samsung book wich is a great advert for a budget computer showing up a so called top end product as a waste of money.

This would be the perfect laptop if display wouldn't flicker. This cannot be seen by naked eye, but you feel it's hurting your eyes. Mild headache in 5 minutes (this is due to pwm flicker and apparently 10% of people are sensitive to it). But screen quality is amazing.It also gets uncomfortably hot at underneath, but I could live with it if screen was ok.Such a beautiful laptop!
