You'll love this IF you buy your cloths at Dollar General or your name is Larry Bird
The captain is disappointed in this robe AND in the reviewers. Rest assured, I WILL be talking to Star Fleet about this. This robe is close to being awesome, but by using cheaper materials, it misses the mark. If you want a thick warm robe, you're in for a let down...While it does look nice & feel soft, this robe is made of cheap thin fleece and it's HUGE. I'm a 5'10" male and generally wear a large(sometimes an XL) but this one-size-fits-all robe is disproportionately long in the arms for normal humanoid carbon-based life forms. And if I were to cuff the sleeves, then the gold arm rankings couldn't be seen, which defeats the purpose of having a Capt. Kirk robe...duh. My own (much nicer) non ST robe, also a one-sized-fits-all robe, fits great. But this ST robe is much better suited for the heavyweight champ w/his boxing gloves still on or a tall NBA player who lives in Miami, Florida where 60 degrees is a freak'in cold wave vs. or the north pole of planet Beta XII-A...Also, I have little confidence that the robe would make it through a single wash without making a mess - shedding & pilling.I would pay much more than $50 for a quality robe - sadly, this ain't it. There is another version of this gold robe(different maker?) that claims to be 100% terry cloth COTTON. That may be the better one to go with, so logic would dictate that I return this robe el prompto. Had I seen & tried this robe on in person, I would NOT have bought this, especially @ $50.00. But between fending off Sulu's constant "advances" (that horny SOB) and running a Star Ship called The En - ter - prise, this captain has been too busy to beam down to the planet surface and try this puppy on in person. The description says this is "hotel quality"...IMO, this would only be considered hotel quality at a roach motel in the Beta Quadrant( or anywhere in West Virginia)... I'm tempted to give this 2 stars but because of the fun novelty of this item, I'll give it 3 stars, but buyer beware. Think "Walmart costume quality" - it's fine for the occasional use, but I wouldn't beam down to Hugh Hefner's grotto wearing it, unless of course, it's Orion Slave Girl Night...That Captain doesn't care what he's wearing when the women are green, but I digress...This ST robe would make for a funny gag gift, which I suppose is it's (only?) intended purpose. If that's all you want, then this should fit the bill, BUT, given the option, I think most people would likely prefer the COTTON version of this robe, for the long trek...I must admit, I can't help but smile when I put this thing on...Oh well, I gotsa Star Ship to run. Kirk out.

Mom loved it!
I got this robe as a present for my mom since she's a big star trek fan. She loved it!The robe arrived quickly and is a super soft plushy material, not towel like, so it's great for just wearing it around the house. The weather has been really cold and mom loves wearing it on top of her clothes when at home. The robe comes in only one size, and it was a little big on my mom (especially the sleeves which she has to roll up) but everything else of this robe was great! Recommended!

Soft, comfortable, and fun to wear!
Very nice robe! Medium weight fleece so warm enough or not too warm for most of the year. Looks pretty cool, too!

Very beautiful
Very nice and soft. The material is more suitable for a dressing gown and not as a bathrobe but I'm very satisfied equally. The seller is super kind and fast. Arrived in Italy in a few days.great purchase!

Make it sew....
Love the quality and workmanship of this really nice robe but I wish the maker was a little more generous with the amount of fabric used considering the price I paid. My husband - who is no way overweight - can barely wrap this around himself. But, he loves it - especially the details of the sewn on communicator badge and the captains stripes on the sleeve cuffs. It is, however, more of a one size fits most guys under a size 44 suit!

Great Star Trek Bathrobe
Bought this one for my husband. He got one so many years ago from his niece for a Xmas present. He wears it almost daily and it's starting to show wear, therefore before it became disintegrated (LOL) I got him a new one (and had to be the captain's one too!)
