Quad Lock Universal Adaptor for Smartphones

5 stars because the issue was totally my fault. Worked awesome!, cold, rain, heat, it held up great for a year. Right up to the point I had to get a new phone case. I tried to attach it to the new case. The tape felt sticky, it seemed to be holding. Right up to the point it didn't. Glad I had a backup plan. I have a lanyard attached to the case itself and I hook it around the mount. Saved my S22 Ultra from a 65mph death. Going to the bike shop tomorrow and buy a new universal mount. Really wish Quadlock would make a waterproof case.

Love these attachments! Bought because of how slim these are compared to the OEM quad locks supplies with the kit. These are a lot easier to handle my phone in my hand with how slim this design is. Has never come off and sticks extremely well. Have bought many of these for different bikes and phone cases .

Was concerned that the adhesive would not be strong but the adaptor has been on my phone case for several months and is still holding very strong and locks tight to the quadlock base

If you're at all unsure about the adhesion, get a razor and peel off the 3M. Get some J-B Weld cold-weld epoxy, it's the kind that comes in 2 tubes and is designed to be mixed together. You can get it from any hardware store. Mix that together with a little paint brush or q tip or something, then spread a thin amount onto the quad lock mount. Apply to your phone's case and give it a couple hours. It takes 24 hours to fully bond and once it does, trust me... It's not coming off. This is what you want to do if you are like me and worried about the crappy 3m mount with wind, weather, and time. If you are also unsure about the wireless charging capability with this attached, just test it before applying adhesive. They say the universal adapter is not designed to work with their wireless charger, but it works just fine on my OnePlus 8 Pro. Get the adapter and test it first, it will likely work for you. P.S. If you ride, highly recommend the vibration dampener from quad lock as well. No sense in subjecting your phone to any high vibrations which might damage the OIS camera sensor. I have their weatherproof wireless charger + vib dampener + this adapter JB Welded to my Rhinoshield case and I'm LOVING it. I can still use my Anker wireless chargers I have all through my house and work office just fine.

in terms of functionality it is amazing. it locks very nicely and it doesn’t bounce around. what i don’t like is that i had to buy gorilla glue gel and glue it to the rubber of my otter box cause the adhesive that comes with it isn’t stick enough to stick to the case. overall great product. wish it was a little cheaper and had stronger adhesive
