Watch out for the sun
This is a good dash kid for a single din unit. Though after 7+ of using it. The sun started to hit had and made the plastic melt and make a bowing look. Plus the vynal started to peel off as it bubbled overtime. So for new installers. Sand down the kit and paint it black, you'll save yourself from the cosmetic issues down the road.

Looks like a stock piece (Some reviews i read stated the color and fit was off, but I did not find that to be the case at all).Very good fit and finish with no modifications needed at all. The small pocket below the stereo is a nice bonus. My stereo did need to be ISO mounted, so make sure you have ISO mount screws handy. Most stereos come with them.

Beware!!!!! Not standard DIN opening!
I recently got this kit to pair with a Pioneer DEH-80PRS, and on the Metra instruction manual it says DIN mount, with a picture of a radio in a forward position. But the only way I could mount my DIN sized radio, is from behind, because the opening is 6-3/4" ish, while a DIN is a standard 7-1/8".Now the problem is that when I open my face plate, I can't get a CD in, because the knob hits the plastic. They didn't make it a standard DIN opening, so you could then adjust the depth of the radio, using the ISO screw locations, it's back-mounted or nothing, unless you wanted to cut up the kit with a dremel.I called Metras tech line to see if maybe I just got a rotten apple, but the tech told me it must have been a typo, because it can't do DIN mounting, which is basically sliding the chassis into the kit, as apossed to an ISO mount that uses the screws on the sides to back mount it like I said above. The best, and what I thought this kit would do, is to have both so you can slide the chassis into the kit and then adjust it with the ISO screw holes that would normally line up for you at certain depths. This all seems absurd to me, because DIN is what just about all radio widths are these days, not to mention most aftermarket radios have some type of knob that protrudes and would get in the way. Why would metra build a kit that is pretty much useless for most users????I opted to order a Schoche kit instead, Scosche 010KA2096B 2009 Kia Soul Double Din with pocket, this kit does both single and double DIN. We'll see how this one works out.

Didn't fit a standard radio
This was terrible, I've never had one not for a single din basic radio. I put my radio in a new car and wanted to put this in my old car I was selling and it didn't fit. Very embarrassing. If they can't get that right, I can't trust them (20+ year of install exp)

High quality kit at a competitive price
This is High metra quality kit, the fit was fine, i had no issues and I didn't have to modify it. I am actually surprised, because it's much better than I expected it to be. The delivery was in a reasonable time and I had no problems receiving my item. Overall good product and seller. I will definitely buy from them again. Thanks
