Adapted Scissors with Easy Grip for Right or Left Hand

These scissors work well as is; however my child's Occupational Therapist wanted to "shorten" the cutting stroke. I accomplished this by hot glueing a small piece of eraser in between the handles up near the blades. As he progresses, we will move the 'block' further down the handles and then off completely.

Would not buy again. Most children needing loop scissors are not gentle and these scissors lasted a week before coming apart. Did not both replacing as they are just cheaply manufactured, also wasn't a high enough dollar value out of pocket to both with trying to return. Bought Faber Castell my first scissors much more durable.

Loved them until my kids broke the pin holding the metal parts together. Now they are trash. They were super easy to use for all sizes of fingers and both lefties and righties, too.

These are excellent. I bought them for my daughter who has fine motor skill problems. Her teacher said it's made a huge difference

Bought these for my granddaughter, who was 4 at the time. She learned how to cut very easily with them - no finger cramps or other struggles! Now, at age 5, she has "graduated" to regular scissors. She is very proficient at cutting paper, and I believe that part of the credit goes to her starting out with these.

An ot who works with my students suggested these scissors and they do make a difference. Fits nicely in preschool hands, making cutting easier and building fine motor skills while boosting confidence. Also, makes it easier to provide hand over hand help as needed.A great design.

my 5 year old has SPD, and this scissors allows him to do all of his cutting and crafting without the disappointment of not being able to join in with what the other kids are doing.
