Does its job
Put on top of freezer so out of view you get used to sound of a fly hitting the zapper not too noisy just strange at first

kills flies, but doesnt seem to attract them
This thing, it definitely kills the flies that land on the electric zappers. If ... they land. Even kept on all night, in the darkness, they are not attracted to the blue light. Bit of a disappointment.

Not worth the price
The quality is poor with parts not well fitted together It does seem to get a number of flies, however there are still a lot that just seem to ignore it. It does make a reassuringly loud crack when it catches a a fly, this can be a positive or a negative depending on your opinion.I hope that buying LED would save on constantly changing the bulbs. However, the manual states they should be replaced every 9 months.I feel I would have been better of buying a cheaper one instead of this one.

I don't think this can work. Because science.
I have a rather old bug zapper, and thought I'd replace it with an LED one as the tube replacement was getting a bit old. So I bought this, put it up, turned it on.... and the flies ignored it. After 48 hours it has burned one fly, presumably that wandered in whilst drunk or something. So I did some reading. Always my last resort. Apparently, flies live light in the 310-370nm (that's nanometres for any engineers out there, from work by Thimijan & Pickens, 1973) range and the highest frequency LEDs emit at about 470nm, with nothing on the range flies are looking for, and so it's no surprise flies ignore them. So, in short, I don't see any way this device can ever work as advertised.

Attracts moths well but not fly's
This was a bit of a long shot as I wanted a zapper that would solve the problem of fly's in rural France instead of traditional fly paper. It attracts moths well but not really fly's, although there were plenty flying in the vicinity the light wasn't really attracting them even it the dark, maybe it was the LED's rather then older fluorescent bulbs.
