Nice kit.
Came with everything we needed other than the anchors for the concrete wall in the basement. Remember to read the instructions carefully and bend the excess on the straps in toward the water heater and you'll be happier than having them the other way and hanging out. The pictures and description aren't the clearest on that. The first one I did, I had the strap bracket the wrong way, so it wasn't as easy to tighten. The bracket the bolt goes in doesn't sit quite right that way when you tighten the nut on the carriage bolt. I ended up removing and re-doing that one.

Easy to install with the help of a stud finder!
We needed to add straps to the water heater for re-financing. After watching a couple YouTube videos I understood why! What sold me on this product was the older woman's review. She said it took her 4 hours. It took me a bit longer and I will say I was able to do it with the assistance of the Stanley Stud Finder which helped me find the studs and it also helped me map out where the power conduit and gas lines were. I did need to purchase a new lag bolt (for 4 cents) because the one in the box had a flaw. We do live in an earthquake zone, and I am quite sure that that water heater will not move. (We also passed inspection!)

Robust. The city inspector liked it.
Strong and well built. I installed this in the attic when I replaced our water heater is . It is a tall heater and never had a strap. The inspector commented on it favourably.

The 360 version is the only strap you should be using!
I still prefer this design over the non 360 versions available at Home depot and Lowes. This version is much more secure, looks better, and is almost the same price! Quality is great and keeps your water heater put!
