Olympus Evolt Camera Gadget Bag

Very sturdy gadget bag
This bag is genuine Olympus and a high quality bag. I bought it to hold my Olympus E-510 which came with two lenses. I can fit everything that came in the E-510 kit (body, lenses, cables, manual and charger) into the bag. I can also fit my FL-36 flash (w/case) and two spare batteries. It's a tight fit, so if you like a lot of room for your stuff you should stay away from this bag.About the bag... it has a permanent shoulder strap and permanent hand strap. To open the bag one must release both the front catch and the hand strap catch. There is a pouch with velcro closure on the front. Inside, the top has a zippered compartment with a see-through web front. The bag comes with two dividers - one that attaches with velcro so it can be placed anywhere along the length of the bag. This divider also has a "wing" attached which can keep separate an extra lens. The second divider is u-shaped and can be used for a false bottom under the camera. It's good for storing the heavy cable and charger, mini tripods etc.If you don't need a lot of room, this bag is just the ticket.

A little Small
A great camera bag, except that it is a little small. I have a flash attachment and an extra lens. With everything in the bag, it is a little crowded. It would have been nice if there had been separate pouches for spare batteries, card, etc.;

Atrocious marketing.
The Amazon label given to this bag is misleading. There is an Olympus Travel bag but it is quite a bit larger than the bag which was delivered. The quality of the bag is okay and it might be priced at $25 in a retail camera store. My problem with the purchase from Willoughby's is that it was an egregious case of bait and switch. The picture they used for the bag was of an expensive Lowepro "Stealth Reporter" bag, which Willoughby's claimed was worth over $90, which is, indeed, the price of a low-end "Stealth Reporter." Willoughby's price for the Olympus "Gadget Bag" was great, about $9.00, but the advertising they used to sell it was the worst kind of con game.

Perfect compact bag
I felt compelled to write a review because some people would have you believe this camera is a snug fit for an E510 body alone! Here's a list of what I fit into it, make your own decisions. I have my E510 body with OM adapter and 50mm lens attached. On the side of that I put my 14-42mm and my 40-150 BOTH plus I set another legacy lens (the OM 28mm 2.8) on top of the 14-42mm. In the mesh pouch on the inside I fit my spare lens caps, a lens cloth, an extra CF card and the cases for the CF and XD cards which live inside my camera. I feel that if I had to I could put something else in the bag on the camera side of the separation. Maybe a small flash, maybe another OM or other small 4/3 lens.I have a great Tamron bag that I use when I'm shooting. I bought THIS bag because of the low price and the fact that it fit nicely in my backpack. On a plus side for travelers, there are TWO clasps in order to get to your camera. Theres one in the front and one on the strap that hugs the top of the case. No one will be able to just unclip and run with this thing. It's small, yes, but sometimes small is what you want or need.

Not easy to open the cover and take out the camera
small, once you put the camera in then very little space to put other things in. Not easy to open the cover and take out the camera.

Too small to be of much use as a DSLR camera bag.
I bought this item as a recommended accessory for my new Olympus E620 camera. With a 14-54mm zoom lens attached to the E620,there is just enough space in the bag for the camera + lens. No space for other lenses. The front pouch is also too small to beof much use, except for holding spare batteries and one or two thin filters. The pouch is held closed by a small patch ofvelcro, which allows small items to fall out on either side of the patch. This bag might be useful for a small point-and-shootcamera, but not for a DSLR.

A nice, well made bag
A nice, well made bag, for a very reasonable price. Great fit for my 4/3 SLR and an external strobe and extra battery. Like it so much I've bought three of them for my GH3s and GH4s.

A nice case if you want all Olympus equipment...but...
Well made high quality bag. JUST fits the camera and two lenses and flash with little room for anything else.
