Great handy little bag to attach to a western saddle .

I like that I can fasten onto the rings on the front of my Wintec saddle (no horn) but the bag is really only big enough for a phone or maybe a GPS. Not both.

Great little bag. Large enough to hold my camera, snack, curry comb for when the stickers grab the horses, horse snacks, sunscreen, lip balm, etc etc. But still small enough to be unobtrusive for the comfort of the horse and also still allows me to be able to use my mecate and nightlatch. Stays out of the way and stays put at all gaits. I am buying a second one so that I don't have to keep swapping it out on two saddles for two different horses. I would not however put in a cell phone or truck keys in this in case you and your horse become separated for any reason. I don't think it's large enough to hold a water bottle of any size though. Which is ok for me, I have something else for that and knew that this was not for that purpose. I can also use a horn bag along with this when I need to pack more for longer trips. This pommel bag always stays on my saddles though.

Amazing how much I can fit into this little bag and then completely forget it's there. I have left it on the saddle with an emergency blanket, whistle, flashlight, electrolyte tube and still have space - things I hope I don't need but should have just in case but don't want to have to remember to put in a pocket. Not noticeable at a canter. The only negative is that I loosened the saddle after a ride and he got squirrelly and when the saddle hit the ground the plastic buckle broke. Plastic and horses are generally not a good mix. But I like it so much, I actually sewed it on!

I love this thing so much I use it every single time I ride now! Pretty roomy for such a little pouch. I can fit a couple snacks and my phone and chap stick in it, and my phone is in a bulky case. Great quality, easy to attach, looks good, and is VERY secure on the saddle no matter what we encounter! I love it so much I ordered one for my headband and one for a friend! Now that I know this brand is fantastic, I even have some Trail Max saddle bags on the way. I literally can not say enough good things about this!
