This does not feel like cotton. It is far too soft and completely non-absorbent. It just pushes the water over your skin. The whole point of fouta towels is that 1) they are absorbent (more than a terry towel) and also that they dry super fast (unlike a terry towel). I have washed it multiple times to soften up the fibers - in the hopes that it would become absorbent. It has not worked. I also know to never use fabric softener on towels as it coats the fibers and makes them non-absorbent. Also, I have many fouta/hammam towels from a few different vendors and this one is so unlike any fouta that I have ever seen/experienced before. It is beautiful to look at - but unusable as a towel to dry off after a shower. I will probably use it either as a blanket or as the towel to put directly on the sand at the beach. But it won't be used to dry anything.

This is very soft and excellent quality compared to the cheapest version, blue and white stripe left in photo, you can really tell a difference in quality to this beautiful soft thinker feeling version. It’s a lot longer than I expected when hanging on the hook in the bathroom it takes up the full length of the door but I like the size when I wrap it around me it feels more like a light blanket then a towel which is softer and cozier and feels like you can dry your whole body off in one scoop without leaving any part of your body exposed.I also got some hand towels that were similar but different weave patterns. Shown in middle.

I received it before Christmas, the package was not damaged, but the wrapping was all plastic and it was clearly shipped from Turkey. Which I thought it was a good sign of a genuine product and it is genuine. The material feels soft and new, but nothing like a Turkish towel I’ve touched before. I bought this product trusting the pictures and the price. But this towels feel cheap. They did not come in a pouch like the pictures and description said, which is disappointing because I bought them for a present. Oh, well. It took a long time to get here. I truly don’t know what to do. Return them? I didn’t even get an invoice with it. I was excited when I saw the package but disappointed when I opened it.

Okay I cannot say enough good things about this towel, honestly I would recommend buying SEVERAL - they're good for home, beach or WHATEVER. I will probably buy 1 or 2 more to use as wraps when I'm traveling. I love the soft cotton, they're extremely well made and can be used for many many purposes. throw a few in the trunk for cold nights at the beach :)

I like these very much. They are nice and long for a good wrap around and dry well. They look terrific hanging up in the bathroom as they are a ice bright white, not dingy looking and as long as I put a splash of white vinegar in the wash, they will stay that way. Lovely!

A good Turkish towel, although a bit pricey. I like that I was able to get this in sold white; which is very hard to find. Washed well and came out just about the same size without severe shrinking. I wish the price-point were lower, I'd buy more.

I bought this for a decor throw. It’s perfect size and actually white. I had ordered two before this that said they were white, but they were cream in color.

I really like how this towel is made. It's lightweight but the cotton is soft and absorbent and it washes well, gets better in fact. The weave is consistent and nice.
