This was a Christmas present for my grandson, I caught it on a black Friday sale so the price was great and he'd been wanting some of these. I couldn't believe I was finally able to purchase a couple for almost the price of one!! The look on his face was totally worth every dime! Thanks Amazon for having that sale. I've never ever been able to shop a black Friday sale before and this was perfect for my grandkids!! I got to make a couple of wishes come true. The BIG thing is, they NEVER ASK FOR ANYTHING so that makes it so much more special to me . It was like pulling teeth to find out what they wanted. Lol. I was sent a couple of pictures because this granny is WAY behind in the toy and TV cartoon world so I had to have help and ask myself. 😅 but moms come through so I could and Amazon saved Christmas and I got credit for buying and wrapping them!! This item leaves you with more toys than the smaller sets do, but the smaller sets give you the cool perk of having a big wrapped item that reduces in size, so that you don't have big toys like these taking up so much space. With this set, you have a fun cage that is equally as large as the dinosaur, so this package effectively increases in the amount of space it takes up after you get through the whole experience of opening everything. I don't think my son or I loved the slime as much as expected, because it is very sticky and the coloring in it seems surely likely to stain clothing. All that said, my son does play with this dinosaur, but honestly he has plenty of dinosaurs already. I wish I had just bought several of the robot series. It goves you just as many pieces, but is at least have the size of this one, and does not feature slime or plaster to chip away. The robot series is far surpior to the hunter series, and it's extra parts are more fun than this donosaur cage is. The casing that comes with the robot is more versatile for playing with similar to a science lab diorama.

Fun toy, my 6 year old loved it.

6 year old loves this toy! He recently lost a piece that holds the character in place on top of the toy. I am wondering if i can order a replacement of the little gold cage piece.

My son absolutely loved this! He bought it after saving his allowance up, which im so proud of him =) And it comes with the Dino and the figure and sunken gold treasure piece so I think its definitely worth the price. We paid 25. I don't think it would be worth anything higher though. Figures are like 8 bucks and the Dino the size it is maybe $30 at most. But he loves it. And cant wait to gift him the monster lab and monster for xmas =)
