Great table with packaging/shipping issues.
I read some reviews that talk about the table being unstable, but I don't have that problem at all. I suspect that people with those issues are placing their full weight or very heavy objects on the desk. Normal use conditions (i.e. placing items commonly used on desktops) will not cause the table to collapse. My table does not have any horizontal sway either, so there's no shifting or shaking as I use the desk. I will agree that the desk is a bit of a hassle to move since the legs swing out if you lift the table. That being said, the desk is designed to fold so that's to be expected. If the legs were a bit more firmly connected in their joint, the resistance would keep them from swinging about when the desk is lifted. It does not require more than a single person to adjust the table or put it together. My biggest issue with the desk, and one that seems to come up in many reviews for this desk model, is the state it arrived in. The corners of the desk are scuffed or mushed slightly. There is also either a scratch or something stuck to the table surface. If it were on the underside it wouldn't be an issue, but it is unfortunately on the top. The packaging for the table is pretty much only a double cardboard box with hard cardboard corners for the table. No styrofoam or other packing materials other than bubble fabric for the frame (which arrived in good condition). Some other small issues:-The bottom of the legs are a hard plastic. This is a little slippery on a tile floor, so I wrapped the bottom leg caps in the bubble wrap fabric that the frame was packed in and screwed the caps back into the legs.-The legs, as I said above, are a little loose when not deployed into the stable desk configuration.-The knob holders for adjusting the height of the table, while firmly attached, can still slide off the leg when adjusting the leg rods if enough pressure is applied. They are not glued or bolted to the legs.Good things about the table:-stable and solid-folds up easily-laminate looks better than in the photos-size allows a lot of room to work-height is perfect for taller people or chairs. I use a task chair with mine. Can be used as a standing desk as some have said.

Unstable by Design
I had intended to use this table as a standing desk with some part-time use as a drawing table -- so a standing desk with a slight incline. This table was ultimately too unstable for my purposes so I'm sending it back. Some notes:CONSTRUCTION (3/5):The actual writing surface is made of a nice dense composite and has a good solid weight to it; no complaints there. The folding base is solid metal. Mine came scuffed and covered in parts with some brown oily substance, but nothing a good wipe couldn't solve.DESIGN (1/5):This table is inherently unstable: While the back legs are attached to the tabletop by hinges, the front legs just glide along in some guide rails. While I realize this is part of what allows the table to fold down easily, it also means your nice heavy tabletop is perched somewhat precariously on two front legs that don't attach firmly to anything. This balancing act is made worse by the fact that the adjustable joints on all four legs are not firmly attached to the lower legs either and will pop out unexpectedly if too much weight is placed on the front of the table. When this happens, the whole drawing surface swings upwards from the back and everything on the table falls off. Also, the table tries to hit your face.Because nothing really clicks firmly into place, the table is also surprisingly hard to move without the legs coming apart -- making any height adjustments or even just moving it around the room is definitely a 2 man job.SHIPPING AND ASSEMBLY (2/5):My table came securely packed -- there was no damage to anything in the box. However, I only got one page of the assembly instructions (I had to find the rest online), and there was an extra metal rod that wasn't on the packing list and didn't seem to serve any discernible purpose. Its presence made me uncomfortable. While I wouldn't call the assembly difficult, it was certainly harder than I expected, again because of the adjustable leg joints that kept popping out and readjusting themselves at the most inconvenient times.Summary: While I certainly have issues with this table, if you're just looking for something to do some light work on, and/or are willing to glue parts in yourself and also not move it too much, it could probably still work for you. But you've been warned.

Good desk for a Treadmill Desk
I bought this drafting table to make a treadmill desk for my office. I looked at some of the other desk made specifically for treadmill desk but the expense of them were to high. But this desk fit the bill, great price and good height! It has a large enough desk surface to accommodation my laptop and phone with plenty of work space remaining. It's adjustable and max height is a what sold me on the product. It has one of the highest flat surface I found.I took one star away because it came with two scratches to the top surface on one edge like it had been dropped the shipper. It probably could use a packaging redesign if they are selling them on Amazon.

Good product, damaged
This is a well made product that is sturdy and very easy to set up and use. Unfortunately, the particle board used for the top was dented around the edges. I contacted Amazon and they sent out a replacement unit. It was worse. This was not Amazon's fault. I think it was shipped from China that way. Anyway, to Amazon's credit they made it right with me and created a satisfied customer.

Really good basic slant top desk
This is a reasonably priced drafting desk. It is sturdy and easy to put together. You only have to attach the pre-assembled legs to the top. The only tool required is a phillips head screw driver. I set it up in about half an hour by myself, a 70 year old woman. It is a little difficult to adjust the tilt and height by myself, but do-able. My desk arrived in a few days. The box was damaged, but the desk was packed well, so no damage to it. I would recommend this product to others.
