I bought these because some of my snakes are a little nippy and I was tired of getting tagged by them. They fit well as long as my sleeves weren't overly big and I'm able to pick up and handle my snakes with no issue. Most times, when they see my hand come in while I'm wearing these they don't even try to bite me. They totally served my purpose.

I purchased these gloves in conjunction to a Fnova 47-inch Aluminum Snake Tong. We recently moved to rural grassland area with lots of wonderful critters, including rattlesnakes. These gloves provide that extra protection needed when wrangling rattlesnakes out of the carport or garden. They are heavy duty and long enough to reach the elbow. They also worked well when I had to pick up an injured bat. They have been very handy. I'm very glad I purchased them.

Don't think they are bite proof. Hard to handle snake with metal nubs on hand. Slips very easy

Got them for either me or my husband, so I figured it would fit one of us. We just wanted to make sure our arms were protected as we clear brush in a snake mountain area. They were just too awkward and stiff. We couldn't bend our fingers very well and ended out just using regular thick gloves and hoping we didn't encounter a snake.

Handling our corn snake close to feeding had become less of anxiety ridden process, thanks to these gloves. She doesn’t seem to mind them, either.

Comfortable and durable
